Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense?(If so we can help clear it up! You will not be denied for having a question on the rules): When rolling dice is mentioned, does it mean like literally rolling a d20?
How did you find out about Lord of the Craft? A friend suggested it to me...

What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is the act of playing in the role of someone else to a life-like extent, often used in tabletop games such as Dungeons & Dragons or videogames such as The Witcher III and Skyrim. (And of course Minecraft) Roleplaying is super fun to me, and though I'm not used to this form of it, (I play RPGs and I'm also a Dungeon Master) and I'm new to server roleplaying in general, I have done online text-based roleplaying before on websites like Instagram and goodreads. I would imagine this to be similar at some times. I'm still not sure, when you say roll a 20, if you literally pull out a d20 or if a moderator does the action, which might make more sense.
What is metagaming?: When one uses information that their character shouldn't know. (ex. the character magically finds out that the castle is under attack without being messaged by an owl or other form of notice.)
What is powergaming?: When someone overpowers their character. (ex. making someone die just because you believe that your character is powerful enough to win; reviving yourself after death.)
 
In-Character Information

Character’s name: Elessar
Character’s sex: All the time! (Just kidding. Male)
Character’s race: Wood Elf
Character’s age: 186 (looks 18-20)
Biography: His farm, north of Laureh'Lin, was burned down during a pillage by undead. His parents were killed, and he was sold as a slave to an evil ice wizard who looks strangely similar to the Ice King from Adventure Time. He manged to kill the wizard and escape the mountain castle with help from the wizard's guard, who was killed during the escape. He went south to Laureh'Lin and moved there. He lived as a poor thief for a while, surviving off of stolen food. He was offered a job to assassinate Grand King Skippy Irongut, but passed the deal off. Rumour has it that his old friend Daranin was eventually hired for the job, though it is not confirmed. He survived the plague of Vailor, as he had always had immunity to diseases like that. After the plague he signed up to be an archer for the Elven army and fought in the Dukes' War. He is currently on a break from fighting, but will possibly join the next opportunity he gets. Since the war, he has been working on writing an epic story about a wood elf who can time travel, but has been distracted by writer's block/procrastination.
Personality Traits: Shy, quick witted, not nessessarily brave, Neutral Good
Ambitions: To kill undead, to meet Malin himself (he does a medieval form of fangirling whenever someone says his name)
Strengths/Talents: Gifted with a bow, good at dodging and running (nimble), stealthy, gifted in bluffing and tricks of the street, and rumour has it, good in bed (hehe)
Weaknesses/Inabilities: Not strong, gets intimidated when confronted with an orc. Jumps at the sight of old wizards. Feels an inner dread whenever he sees undead (PTSD).
Appearance: Brown hair, 5'11 in height, dark brown eyes that may or may not change colour,

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Biography: Can I have a link to some of the lore? The link to the wiki didn't work so I googled it and there are only a few pages on the wiki and nothing that could really help me write a bio for Elessar.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Not strong, gets intimidated when confronted with an orc. Jumps at the sight of old wizards. Has a fear of his friends losing interest in him (It happens a lot. He's not a bore, but for some reason no one ever seems to stay with him as friends that long).
