What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is pretty much like acting. You have a character which has a set of traits and a set personality with which you must roleplay.

What is metagaming?: Metagaming is using OOC information IC. Say your friend tells you that the Dwarves are going to attack in an hour over skype, you could not tell your friends that in character, that’d be metagaming.

What is powergaming?: Powergaming is when you do really OP stuff, like triple flipping and other stuff like that which a normal person couldn’t really do. An example would be if I dodged ten arrows and then threw my longsword at the enemy, ripping his throat apart and killing him instantly. This does not give my opponent to react nor is it something realistic.

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):

Borin was the third son of Kerwyr and was always quiet, unlike his more athletic and active brother, Baka. He enjoyed reading books and shooting crossbows in his freedom, often doing these two things for many hours. He ended up joining the Legion with his brother, but soon left, preferring to hunt throughout the forest of Urguan to shooting his fellow Dwed in the Dwarven Civil War. He was away for the Kingdom for quite sometime, not returning until the reign of Midgor Ireheart.

When he had returned, Borin found that his father had returned to the Kingdom. He spent much time within the Frostbeard clan hall studying and writing thesis’s on Frostbeard history and life out in the wild. He revealed that he spent much of his time away from the Kingdom in the mountains were the old Frostbeard city once stood; Tal’Awyr. Many noticed that he was more aloof than before, and some are beginning to suspect that he spent more time than should be spent in the thanium pit...

Personality Traits: Quiet, Kind, Quick thinking

Ambitions: Write a book about the history of Frostbeards

Strengths/Talents: Writing, Archery, Hunting

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Talking, Sword Fighting
