I have no doubt that you have heard time and time again of tale and legend alike, of strong warriors and nimble thieves who have leaped to unimaginable feats through acts of glory and valor. I'm sure those stories are of great interest to many a men and women across the vast lands of Vailor, but this story, our story, of Rowan Reimfred does not compare in any way to such ventures.
Our story, is quite the opposite, you see, Rowan... well, Rowan is the like the color gray. Boring, uninteresting, and to be frank, isn't even really a color. He grew up within the streets of Felsen as a Heartlander in the year 1525 of Snow's Maiden. As a child, he would go out and play with the kids on the block, but never made any long lasting friendships, as a teenager, instead of going out and doing mischievous dangerous things like all the other boys on the block, he worked in his father's general store, and as an adult, well... he took over the very same general store after his father died of old age. By the age of 30, Rowan had only a few main points of interest along the very straight and narrow path he had so wrongly called a life. Those main points being the time he was mugged for all but 3 Mina, the time he saw Rose Lawlands breasts at the county fair, and the time he was slapped by Rose Lawland for staring at her breasts at the county fair.
Rowan was all set and ready to keep down this path, his safe and straight path, selling boring general goods, in a boring general store, for money that he would spend on boring things, for his boring home, so he could live his boring life until he reached... well, you guessed it, his boring death. But, unfortunately, the "Reimfred Goods Co." was forclosed after his mother had passed, and our little gray shell of a man Rowan was forced onto the streets. So, out of spite, and out of distrust, he left home, said goodbye to the straight and narrow (and we can't forget Rose Lawland) and said hello to the very terrifying and windy road of adventure.
Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?)
Rowan enjoys repetition, he enjoys simplicity, and safety. Outside of that Rowan really just wants to be left alone, he scares easy, worries a lot, and doesn't really trust anyone.
Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?)
He wants to be a part of a business again, open up a shop, have an income, his own place in the world. A really safe, and stable place.
Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?)
The only thing he has a real act for is business, he knows how to deal with competitors, he knows what customers want, and he knows money.
Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?)
Anything to do with courage, or any kind of act of heroism. He longs to die in his sleep at the ripe age of 200 something. So, if something threatens that, he doesn't want to be a part of it.
Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) He takes care of himself, I mean he doesn't go out of his way to be at peak physical condition but he's a lean 160lbs, he has mutton chops (can't really grow a full beard... weak chin), and fair skin.
