Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore.):

Naelen was born in the year 1223 in Athera, well before the races left for Vailor. She was born to a wood elf mother who often told Naelen that her father had been a high elf - this wasn't difficult to believe due to her skin being paler and height being taller than the other wood elf children her age. Of course, Naelen never met her father because of the hatred and/or disgust high elves felt towards half-breeds. Not that she cared, as a child Naelen never expressed much interest in her father and paid more attention to her mother's culture than the man that sired her. Naelen's mother would reguarly tell Naelen about the wood elf revolt against the High Elves - leading the girl to have a rather biased view against them. She also developed a slight distrust for humans who had sided with the High Elves during the civil war.

During her adolescent years, Naelen was a bit of a troublemaker. She'd never directly cause a disturbance unlike the other children but whenever something mischievous happened, the adults soon began to suspect that Naelen was the mastermind behind these attacks. Childhood was an enjoyable time; she'd play tag among the trees with other children and try to wrestle with them - though she would almost always lose despite her height due to her thin build. Her awareness of things around her grew stronger to avoid getting tackled by the others, although it was all just a game to them.

During her early 30s, Naelen began to express a romantic interest towards another wood elf called Ryfon, who returned her affections. Ryfon was a lot kinder than Naelen and to others it seemed as though the girl was toying with him, even though her intentions were true. It was also around this time that Naelen began to show signs of an ability to study druidism Since they were both considered children due to their young ages, Naelen decided to wait until they were into their first century before having children - much to Ryfon's impatience. During her 138th year, Naelen was blessed with a son whom she and Ryfon called Maeral. From day one it was clear that Ryfon was a very involved father; he wouldn't leave Maeral on his own, he'd always want to play with the child - even to the point where Naelen had to convince Ryfon to let the poor boy sleep.

The three were happy together as a family and Naelen was surprised when she fell pregnant again during her 189th year. This time the baby was a girl, whom Ryfon named Rania, which meant 'to gaze'. Naelen didn't play with her children as much as other mothers' did, Ryfon was the one who did such things. However, she did tell them stories and legends - believing that passing on knowledge to a child was the most important thing in being a parent. Whilst Ryfon taught them how to be considerate, Naelen taught them how to get what they wanted in life - the two had opposite views on parenting and squabbled about it regularly but they never fought in front of the two children and none of their fights ever went too far.

The next few decades went by swiftly until the year 1513. The family of four managed to board a ship heading to The Isles of Vailor along with other people from other races. Expecting the next few years to be filled with conflict and war over the new land, Naelen managed to persuade Ryfon to let them live outside of the war zones - just barely managing to keep her children and husband from getting involved in any violent drama the other races stirred among each other. After the year of darkness as the sky filled with ash during 1524, the four decided to head back into the civilized world - in case something possible catastrophic like the volcanic eruption happened again.

Naelen met this decision with regret, for only two years after the year of darkness, Ryfon fell sick to the plague that swept across Vailor. Distraught but fearing for her children's health, Naelen abandoned Ryfon and has since believed him to be dead - his fate sealed the same as the others that had also fallen to the plague. Naelen began to find a malicious amusement in watching the coming empires and kingdoms to rise before swiftly being cut down by themselves or their enemies. Sometimes even their allies.

Finally after the year 1547 and after the fall of the Empire of Vanderguan, Naelen finally decided to stop watching the events of the world with idle hands and resolved to strengthen herself through training in order to watch over her children and crush any future threats.

Personality Traits:

Naelen is as cunning as she is charming and rarely does people favours since she always expects something in return. Although devious when no suspicions are cast upon her, Naelen can become very stubborn and fearless when she is accused of something - if she has committed the act she is accused of, then she will admit it freely. If not, then she'll defend herself until her voice grows hoarse. Despite her half-breed status, Naelen can be slightly judgmental of other races based upon their stereotypes. Naelen can be dependable if what she is needed for is within her interests.

Ambitions:

Naelen's main ambition at the moment is acquire control over her druidic abilities, though she also wishes for her two children to find stable footing in the world.

Strengths and Talents:

Naelen is very manipulative and can usually persuade people to do what she wants - though this entirely depends on the person she is persuading

She is flexible and has hypermobility which has helped her get out of a few scrapes.

Instead of being physically strong, Naelen is a fast runner and has a heightened perception from when she would play with others during her childhood.

Naelen has the capability to learn druidic magic though it is only up until recently that she has expressed interest in developing her abilities.

Weaknesses/Inabilities:

Naelen is distrusting without cause, making it difficult for her to create strong ties with others.

Due to her High Elf genetics, Naelen is physically weak compared to others.

She can be weak-willed when it comes to her children - leaving her open to manipulation.

Appearance:

Naelen is taller than most due to her high elven bloodline - standing at 6'5. She has long hair, which she has died black in a sign of mourning and usually tucks behind her pointed ears, accompanied with fair skin and light purple eyes from her father. However, these eyes have never darkened due to her mother's bloodline. Naelen adorns a black shirt and leather trousers, which she covers with a blue robe - the waist tightened with a light-coloured cotton sash.
