Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature: Metzli was looking for candidates and chose primates. She
unlocked the mind of an alpha primate who went on to be Hou-Shen, the Monkey King. Metzli commanded for Hou-Shen to share his wisdom with the other monkeys in the jungle of Asul, in which he did. These monkeys were now known as the Hou-Zi. The Hou-Zi people wanted more luxuries and more wealth, so Metzli order Hou-Shen to take over other land to gain their wealth, the Fei-Zhu tribe were usually the ones who would scout out land to conquest. This is how the Hou-Zi became rivaled with the Elves, Hou-Shen wanted to take elven land and he was very succesful at it, but eventually both armies were exhausted of men and materials so they called a peace tready where the Hou-Zi would stop their conquest but keep the land they earned. The peace tready only lasted a century before war started again. The Hou-Zi lost a lot of land through out the 2nd half of the first war, then Hou-Shen died at the end of the first war, how ever, Metzli brought his soul back and gave him immortality. A 2nd war took place between the elves and the Hou-Zi, but the Hou-Zi had a lot less land then before so things weren't looking so hot for them. The 3rd and final war that took place was a civil war between Hou-Zi families. Then an unknown poison spread poison around their homeland, ultimately destroying the city. Hou-Shen then mysteriously dissapeared, and no one has seen him since that day.

There are 3 subraces of Hou-Zi,  the Laobai-Zhu, Hei-Zhu, and Fei-Zhu

the Laobai-Zhu are the most common species of Hou-Zi with brown fur and a wide variety of eye colors

The Hei-Zhu are pretty much humanoid gorillas with black fur

the Fei-Zhu are very colorful with fur colors such as blue, red, green, gold, yellow, and orange, and their eyes can be anycolor

Character’s name: Rolland

Biography: Rolland was born in Haelun'or in the year 1507. His father, Connor, was a sauce maker who owned a small shop with a poor amount of daily visitors, his mom, Patrise, stayed at home to take care of him. They were becoming extremely poor and didnt have enough money to support the a family. Connor and Patrise often fought with each other about the issue, and they ultimately decided to give Rolland to a family that could support him. He was given to a new family of 3 when he turned 7 years old. 1 sibling and 2 parents. The silbling was a sister named Kaitlyn, and his new parents were named Alen and Polly. When he turned 9 news came out that there was a massacre in the town of Wett. Rollands adoptive parents were in shock and despair because they have lost a friend that had lived in Wett. Time went on, 10 years later Rolland was 19 at the time, a deadly plague threatened Haelun'or. Rolland and his family were trapped inside for several weeks to keep the plague from reaching their family. Thankfully, they weren't harmed by the plague and Rolland and his family continued to live. Years go by and in 1547 they were devestaded to hear that The Empire of Venderguan collapsed. Rolland had turned 40.
     At 1557, Rolland turned 50 at decided to go off on his own and visit new places. He wished he Mother, Father, and Sister all good bye as he left for Laureh'lin. He had a couple of detours, one of which was an encounter with a man named Rasmodius Glaeus. This man taught him combat skills and turned out to be a very trust worthy ally. He ventured on and made it to Laureh'lin. He had many encounters with wood elves, good and bad. Over all, he had to leave Laureh'lin after about 3 days of staying there. He got a message from his family of an emergancy. He returned home and found out that his mother was ill and close to death. His sister was about to turn 50 and his father was drinking because of depression. Polly died later that night and left Rolland and his family in tears. The next day his father commited suicide from the depression. Rolland was determined to protect his sister and keep her alive for as long as possible. They decided to move to Laureh'lin and start their life their. So they got in the wagon and head off, but half way to their destination they were attacked. Kaitlyn and the driver were killed, and Rolland was left injured. Rasmodius Glaeus found him on the road injured and brought him to Laureh'lin. When Rolland woke up, he didn't know what happened, until Rasmodius told him that the other people in Rollands wagon were dead. Rolland felt crushed. He planned his life around protecting his sister, then she died.
    While at Rasmodius's house, Rasmodius encouraged him to become stronger and instead of just protecting his sister, to protect everybody he cared about. So Rolland then decided to do so. He decided to wear armor when in public just in case of an attack. And since then he started training, and decided to return and live in Haelun'or at 1563 and continues to do so to this day.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Has conflicts easily (Doesn't get along to well with people), scared of snakes, very noisy and not sneaky.
