Grumdus was a son of a rich and succesful merchant of the dwarven kingdom of Urguan. He always travelled to many places to buy and sell wares. They normally lived in the capital of the dwarven kingdom but since his father was always out going to different places he always had to come with. Grumdus liked this but he preffered being around dwarves. He barely saw any on his journey with his father and brother. His father taught him all the stuff about trading. And Grumdus’ father was in his spare time a decent blacksmith. Grumdus decided to do something as well and specialized himself into blacksmithing. He helped is father a lot since his tools and weapons sold quite well in the markets. Grumdus started to like this and wanted to do this in the future as well. He would’ve had a good income and would live a comfortable life. Nothing more he wanted.
But on one day when Grumdus, his brother and his father were out going to the capital of Oren, also known as Felsen they got ambushed by an Orenian Warparty. Apparently they were not allowed to go trough Oren lands because of the war between Oren and Urguan. But Grumdus had nothing to do about this war. He had heard about it but he thought that could simply go trough the lands of Oren without any problems. It seemed that he was wrong. The men demanded for the stuff his father had in his cart but Grumdus father did not want that they would take it. He said that he would’ve rather been killed by them. While these men were focused on his father, the brother of Grumdus decided to take it for a run. Some men saw this and followed the dwarf. And the captain of the force got mad and stabbed his father in front of Grumdus eyes. He then shouted his last words “Run my son!” and Grumdus did he had been asked to. He took it on a run and managed to outrun the soldiers. He was hidden in the woods for a day and then made his way to the kingdom of Urguan. There he decided to start a new life. He became a blacksmith and forged tools for the miners and weapons for the soldiers. And if he was called to a battle he would work as an engineer for the siege equipment. He was working in the battle of Kal’Ordholm where he repaired a balista or 2. A normal life he had indeed but if he could forget about what happen was not sure. He surely wanted revenge for his father who had been killed for no real reason...
Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) He likes to forge tools and weapons. He sometimes goes hunting. He dislikes people who act without honor and he also dislikes war
Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) He wishes to live a normal life and just grow out to become a great blacksmith for the mighty dwarves.
Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) He’s good in forging tools or weapons. He also is quite good with the crossbow as he goes out hunting a lot
Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) Not very good in the art of combat as he hasn’t got a lot of training. And he doesn’t like doing things on other people’s ways, so he doesn’t like to listen and take advice from others while they can be quite good.
Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) He has blue eyes and brown hair. He is around 4 feet tall. He looks quite young for a dwarf.
