Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

One who as experienced an unjust or particularly gruesome death is able to return to the world once again as a Graven under certain conditions. Gravens are considered to be unique to both ghosts and apparitions, although they can often appear to be quite similar and almost indistinguishable to the untrained eye. The formation of Graven is often attributed to large scale killings that occur as a result of raids, the sacking of towns, and even genocides. Betrayals and unsightly demises in a smaller scale can also give birth to a Graven. The time it takes for a Graven to form varies greatly; it can take decades or days depending on the circumstances. Once a Graven has become “corporal” it will begin to pursue its life task. One example that can be given is a cultist that had risen to restore his long lost theistic order. However not all Gravens must have such grand plans, one could simply be striving to carve out the best bowl of all time, to sell wears, or even to find the perfect jewel. Another thing to note is that Gravens are generally corporal in nature and can interact with the world around them, unlike their ethereal ghost relatives. Their corporal form does have its advantages in terms of ability to mold and directly influence their surroundings; however it also does come with devastating drawbacks. Gravens are unable to withstand direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time. Gravens physical nature also leaves them vulnerable to conventional steel weapons instead of just gold and silver. Should a weapon find its way into a Gravens heart it will die for a time. Gravens have a tendency to be engulfed in magical fire, have rotting flesh, or seem to be ethereal like a ghost. Gravens are also susceptible to fi magic, alteration, shamanism and holy magic, the aforementioned schools of magic can quickly dispel a Graven for a time however they will not be exorcised. A Graven will pass on at a time unknown to them or when they are in no position to continue their work. If a Gravens “work” is location bound, disassembling the location would be enough to exorcise the Graven, however if it can be done without special tools or equipment than the graven would continue to wonder as it searches for ways to complete its task.

Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

A golem is a creature crafted by a golemancer, powered by a magic core. Golems have no free will and serve one that they call the ‘Impera’, which is usually their creator or someone that their creator has given them to. golems are capable of being up to eight feet tall, the largest of golems however also have a very low intellect. A golem is vulnerable to damage on its runes, if these are damaged it becomes sluggish in that area, if these where sensory runes such as sight, hearing, or touch then they are disabled and the golem loses that appropriate sense. golems do not ‘regenerate’, and they must be fixed by a golemancer every time they are damaged or even destroyed. Should a core be damaged while inside of the golem, it will go red which basically means that the golem becomes unpredictable and very destructive, seeking to cause chaos. Golems are also very slow, and they lack the ability to pronounce complex words, often times breaking these up with -’s, they are usually unable to make sentences.

Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

           Trolls are hulking abominations, wandering woods and mountains these beasts act more like animals than descendant. With a massive figure, standing at an average of 12 feet and weighing about 800 ponds, they wander the land at night picking on the livestock of farmers and causing great grief to anyone unlucky enough to cross their path. Trolls are most notably compared to an orc, however a troll is both dumber and bigger than the meanest of orcs or ologs.

            Trolls often stick together in small packs of three, any more and they would pose a threat to themselves with constant fighting and animal instincts. Having a inferior intellect and unprecedented rage trolls are usually disliked by the rest of the descendants. Trolls often look disgusting to most, with bushy eyebrows and un-proportional facial features like bulbous noses and a fat belly with crooked teeth and large ears. Trolls lack of intelligence often leads them in to getting tricked by witty adventurers and the like, however their savage nature makes it a very risky task to try to converse with a troll, as it could result in death.

            Another important note on trolls is that their curse. Trolls are unable to bear sunlight, as it will burn their skin and eyes. Prolonged exposure to sunlight causes them to become petrified and turn to stone. This causes trolls to live in caves and only come out during the night to hunt for food. The caves they reside in often reek of death with bones littering the floor, hygiene not being something that they prioritize. Even though they often live a life of seclusion they still seem to understand common and speak it to an extent. Trolls are also unable to learn magic due to the mental challenges that they face.

Moe Jester was born in a small town bordering the Dwarf lands in the year of 1517, Him and his kinsmen were all faithful members of the Holy Orenian Empire. Growing up Moe was known to be quite the loner, often hiding from the other kids not because he didn’t want to make friends, but he was afraid to try. At the age of  18 Moe joined the military, eager to be able to serve with his father as part of the peasant infantry unit. Soon after enlisting the town folk were called to arms by the Orenian Empire to aid in the capture of the dwarven fort Rhewengrad. Following the attack Moe remains in service until 1542 when his father is killed by an explosive arrow during the siege of the Grandaxe Keep.

            Unable to continue his military career due to a shard of shrapnel digging deep in too his knee during the siege of grandaxe keep, Moe wandered back to his town only to find it a desolate slum due to constant attacks by marauding deserters of both the dwarven and human armies alike. Heading inland Moe aspired to gain a nobble title and pressure the lords of the Holy Orenian Empire into extending the war with the dwarves out of a deep hatred for those responsible for his fathers death.
