  1. Ser Adrielle rolled over in bed and looked out her window after wakening from the dream. She squinted seeing that dawn was just barely breaking and she simply sighed as she lied back down and threw the pillow over her head. "Too early for this shit." She'd say before falling back asleep.

"Peace in our time." The woman said to her husband as she read the missive with him.

  5. If it on their tile, they should be able to do whatever they want with it. Nobody is railroading (no pun intended) players to use the roads and roads alone for travel. Its not like there's barrier blocks preventing you from taking  a rout that doesn't even have a path or road. So, if a nation is build over or on a road, and you don't want to go through or happen to be blocked, there's nothing stopping you from going around. Who knows, maybe you'll find something cool in the wilderness when you delve into it because you didn't take the road. Sometimes not taking the road might even be faster to your destination. Just learn how to parkour up mountain faces and effectively swim through large bodies of water. It's really not that hard.

What magic(s) will you be teaching?

             Alchemy

Describe this magic or a creature as a whole:

Alchemy is the extensive creation process of potions and alchemical effects allowing those with the knowledge to take reagents in their raw forms and extract their desired symbols from them using various processes ranging from the mundane and the elemental. Then using those various symbols and mixing them into bases to create their desired potions or effects that are commonly known by all alchemist, or what was specifically taught to them from more specific lists.

Are there different sections or subsections of magic? Can those be elaborated upon?

Alchemy has a number of steps and processes that are required to be done to be done properly. For example the three main processes for alchemical creation are:

Identification is the first step of the alchemical process in which an alchemist will collect a reagent, then identify the specific signs and symbols a herb has. Depending on the alchemist's tier, the amount of time this takes varies.

Extraction is the second step of the alchemical process where the alchemist then takes their identified herb and conducts one of the six extractions processes upon it. Most commonly an alchemist will likely be conducting the mundane extraction processes in which a herb is chopped up, ground down, or shredded, then it is soaked and boil it in aqua vitae until reduced to a powder the must be sieved to extract the desired symbols. The other extraction processes included air, water, fire, earth, and aether. For each the vary from compressing and decompressing a raw reagent within a container. Soaking a raw reagent in water, mashed, then dried out. Burning a dried raw reagent to ash. Grinding a raw reagent with measures 1:2 with salt until it's a powder. Then lastly using aurum tools for the extraction instead of regular ones made of any other material.

Mixing is the last step in the alchemical process. This is where the alchemist take their collected symbols that they gathered from the previous step in the extraction process and mix it into a base such as distilled water, night sap, or various oils (just as a few examples) to then create their desired potion or effects. Some potions are a little more tedious in others, requiring an alchemist to add symbols into their base in a specific order, but this is usual addressed in their recipes if it is required.

Along side these processes, there are many alchemical recipes that are common knowledge to all alchemists. These recipes are normally labeled as "rare" and must be taught to an alchemist by another who knows the recipe. To add to this, there's also further alchemy such as Tawkin or Alteration Alchemy which also must be taught by a teacher to their student.

Can you give an example of a casting emote, of a spell of your choice?

Adrielle would come out of the storage room with her gathered herbs of Goblin's Ivy, Mandragora, Beardweed, and Oracle wood. Moving over to the work station where she had her various tools prepared, she'd lay out her herbs and would begin to chop and shred the reagents, then fitted them into a beaker full with aqua vitae, allowing them to soak before she lit the small pyre beneath the beaker and allowed it to boil. It would take some time for it to boil down into a powder, so Arielle took this time to prepare her base of mandragora oil, setting a beaker of it to the side while she waited.

Once the aqua vitae and the reagents within boiled down into a powder, the woman would grab a sieve that hug on a nearby wall and set it over a container. To which she then dumped the powder from the extraction into the sieve, giving it a few good taps to reveal the symbols. -- With a pair of tweezers, she'd proceed to remove her desired symbols from the batch, those being Life x2, Impediment x3, Swiftness x2, and Order x2, setting all of which aside while she discarded the rest that she didn't require.

With her symbols extracted and her base prepared, she'd then simply just pour her collected symbols into the base. With a glass rod, she'd mix the base and symbols together until they were combined, and would then transfer the mixture into a bottle, creating her desired potion of Organ Mender.

Can you give an example of a teaching-emote (interacting with another) of a spell of your choice?

"Today you and I will be making your first potion, so I've pick out something simple. A luminosity potion." The woman would say as she sat with her student with in her lab a handful of herbs gathered of Nightglow and Goblin's Ivy. "We'll start with a mundane extraction. If you remember, you'll need to grind or shred the herb, then soak and boil in aqua vitae until its a powder that we can sieve the symbols out of." The woman would explain as she likely has done before. She'd then stand to gather a set of the required tools, beaker of aqua vitae, base of distilled water, then set them before her student. "First chop or shred the nightglow and the goblin's ivy and add it to the beaker of vitae." She'd instruct her student, then stood beside them while she observed their process and corrected them as needed.

"Now set the pyre alight beneath the beaker, and we'll allow it to boil to a powder." She'd explain, then sat and waited until the aqua vitae was boiled away, leaving behind a powder. "Take your sieve now, and dump the powder into it, shake it out, then extract one of each light, endurance, and swiftness." She'd instruct, handing her student a pair of tweezers, then watched as her student did as they were told. Sieving the powder, then picking out the desired symbols from it, leaving the rest to the side.

Once the extraction was done, Adrielle set before her student a bottle of distilled water. "The distilled water is the base of the luminosity potion. Simply just add your symbols and cork it, and your potion is done." She'd once again instruct, offering smile to her student and watched as they added the symbols to the bottles and sealed it with a cork. "Now give it a shake, and you'll see what it does." She'd explain, offering a nod of approval to her student and watched as they shook the bottle, causing a reaction within, and the liquid inside began to glow. "Well done."

Say your student powergames during or after teaching, how do you reprimand that?

If it were done intentionally I would confront my student OOCly about the issue and ask them to explain what they had done and would then tell them what they did wrong and why it was wrong and warn them to not repeat their actions again. If it were a simple mistake I'd just correct their action and explain that they're always free to ask questions if they're unsure. If my student were to repeat these intentional actions after repeated corrections, I'd drop them from my TA, if they're beyond my TA, I'd inform ST of their infractions.
