What is roleplaying?: Roleplay, or RP for short, is the act of playing the role of and acting as a character would rather than yourself.

What is metagaming?:Metagaming refers to making decisions and discussing topics based on information that your character would realistically have no way of knowing.

What is power-emoting (powergaming)?:A player can be described as power-emoting (powergaming) if he or she presumes or declares that his or her own action against another player character is successful without giving the other player character the freedom to act on his own prerogative.

Biography: Lisette hails from the Duchy of Drusco with a lineage descending from the blood of Ashford. Lisette was born into the de Aryn family in a cold winter’s night in 1568 to Lystor de Aryn and Adelheid de Aryn. She lived her life in the meadowy fields of Peremount where the air was sweet with the red wine the Savoyards were good with making. And such to that would compliment her, she has a happy temperament and a happy air about her.

She was raised up in Drusco and taught rigorously on how to be the most courteous noble woman. Lisette is very close to her elder twin brother, Gustave and maintains good relations with the rest of her family. As situations developed with the death of Emperor John Sigismund II, the family lost their barony and began to split up. Her father took their family to live in the city of Metz in the Archduchy of Lorraine and coming with it the fine silks of the family, starting a humble little business there.

Personality Traits: Idealistic: Ellie has a very idealistic output on life, trying to spin everything in her and her family's direction. She believes that most situations can be pushed to have the ideal outcome for her, and strives to make this possible. This can also be used to inspire others in some sense, while giving her the drive she needs to complete complicated tasks.

Humorous: Coupled with her natural optimistic outlook on things, Lisette tries to make a light hearted poke at most of the encounters she finds herself in. She borders on the lines of sassy, though most of her jokes tend to be in good taste. Eleana appears as a happy figure to most due to this behaviour, encouraging positive conversation in whichever social circle she joins.

Leaderly: Although she is a woman, Lisette tries to take a dominant role when there’s one needed. She can take control of a group and command them adequately and to work efficiently, though her instructions are just that-- commands. She can come off as bossy and too innovative at times, perhaps throwing displeasing indicators towards the male peerage.

Perfectionist: Lisette strives to complete tasks to perfection. Or as close to perfection as she can get, in most cases, considering she deals with people in everyday situations. She will try to get the best for the people she cares about, off putting any kind of deadline she’s been given in favour of the quality of her work. She can be rather delayed in her everyday life because of this, causing her to be seen as slow, but in reality it is the opposite as she completes most tasks to the best of her ability.

Impulsive: While she tries to hold back from acting without a plan, Lissie cannot help but jump to act out her ideas at the slightest instant. She almost never has a plan to back herself up, and always ends up fumbling in one aspect or another. This leads to her misplaying her cards sometimes, appearing very enthused yet dense. This also applies to small time ideas as well as big plots. This can also cause her to be very easy to manipulate, considering she jumps at the chance rather than planning out a plan of action.

Opinionated: While Lissie tries to come across as a forward thinker, she can become rather assertive and sour once someone denounces her opinion or point. She even goes to the extent of trying to crush someone else’s argument, even if it has sound reasoning. This applies to most of her life, where she believes her ideals are correct and will go through what she can to achieve them. She comes off as very forceful and bossy when this behaviour comes across, not often taking steps to prevent it.

Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) Lisette wishes to do her duty to her family and marry a charming man.

Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?)

Athletic: Being an able hunter, Lissie makes sure to keep her body in tip top shape, though strides to keep her feminine figure. She finds an interest in sports, and will often participate in a game or two. She doesn’t seem to get out of breath easily, and can run at long lengths. This seems to kick in almost instinctively if she’s attacked, her first thought to flee the scene and escape to safety.

Imaginative: Lisette has a wild imagination, often using it to think up devious plots. She's had this since she was a child, making up her own little world or writing something creative. Though, she tries to use this more for her time in the noble scene, making wild plans and accusations.

Idealistic: Having a positive outlook on life, she often gives those around her a boost of confidence, even if she doesn't always have it in herself. She often tries to swing things into her favor, adding a bit of silver-tongued compliments to butter up her father or uncle.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?)

Bad with money: Lisette was always given an allowance, and being the spoilt thing she is she barely ever had anything left over. She would usually spend it all in one day on things she doesn't even need. When this happens, she often goes running to her father, begging just for a little more, or just to have him buy something for her.

Anxious: Having a more bossy personality can take it's toll, she's always nervous about being rejected or people rising up against her. She's afraid of being rejected, often trying to live up to her father's expectations of being the model child.

Impulsive: Eventhough she can create complex and imaginative plans, doesn’t mean she’ll follow them. If she suddenly has a new idea pop into her head, she’ll scrap the entire thing and dive in head first. This can often create a few awkward situations for her.
 

Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?)

Lissie was born with a plethora of naturally attractive features, having been born of noble blood. Her eyes take on a slimmed form, hosting hazel brown irises in the centre. Lisette's mouth is usually kept in a thin, straight line, hosting plump lips that rest a short distance from her chin. While her ears are usually hidden behind her shoulder-width, black hair, they sport detached lobes and stick close to her head. Her hair is usually brush off to one side, the majority resting on her right shoulder.

Lisette stands at 5’6ft and weighs in at 136lbs, maintaining a healthy physique due to her hobby of hunting. She has pale, ivory skin that is beginning to tan slightly from the Ashford sun. Her muscles are lithe and compact due to them not necessarily being regimentally worked on, but rather a bi-product of her hobby. She hosts a larger amount of body fat around her thighs rather than her upper half, and maintains her body to the upper social standard, leaving her body barren of most hairs.
