What is roleplaying?: It is a type of server where you create a character and play as if you are that character.
What is metagaming?: When a player plays the game as his character would not or when you know something your character isn't suppose to know.
What is power-emoting (power-gaming)?: When someone is over powered and has impossible amount of strength.

My character was born in Carrenhall. He has lived there his entire life besides the occasional visits to Hanseti and Kaedrin. He was born in the year 1547.
He didn't know much about the world, but he always had dreams of getting an education. His father taught him everything he knew, but being the son of a fisherman he didn't learn very much. He expected himself to end up just being a fisherman as well because that's what he knew best. He hated the idea of becoming a fisherman. All he wanted to do was explore the world.
His father was a fisherman and his mother stayed home reading a book most of the time. He had an older brother but he died when when he was only 19. He was only 11 when his brother was shot with an arrow during a hunting accident. His mother passed away even earlier from an unknown disease. After all of this horror that came to this family his father committed suicide. He said he was going to go buy some bread and he never came back. His body was found in a river under a bridge.
Ever since then he been living with a long time family friend. He's been living there for seven years until he was old enough to get his own place.
