  1. Out-Of-Character Information

Please do your best to correct spelling and grammatical errors, this is an RP server and writing is the main form of communication!

What’s your Minecraft account name?: Lbuus

    How old are you?: 16

What timezone are you in?: AWST

Are you aware the server is PG-13 (You won’t be denied for being under 13): I am aware.

Have you read and agreed to the rules?: I have.

What’s the rule you agree with the most?: If you die in roleplay, your character will not remember the events leading up to the death. Waking up knowing who killed you is metagaming. You also may not return to the site of your death for thirty minutes (Unless it was your character's home).

Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense? (if so we can help clear it up!): No no, I understand them all, thanks.

I agree with this because I have encountered many people who do this and it is slightly annoying.

How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: I searched up "Rp servers" and this showed up..

Have you logged into the server yet? (You cannot be whitelisted without logging in at least once): Yeo

    Definitions

What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying in my words is taking on the role of a character and then playing that character.

What is metagaming?: Metagaming is taking information that has been said OOC (out of character) then using it for personal benefit and use IC (in character).

What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Powergaming can be defined as many different things but the main one is being OP (over powered). This can come in forms of, dodging a lot of attacks; landing a lot of attacks without fail (mostly one shots), and having everything needed at hand.

    In-Character Information
Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

    Character’s name: Val'oen

    Character’s sex: Female

    Character’s race: Wood Elf

    Character’s age: 20

    Biography:

In the year 1570 (making them 10 years since the year is 1580) Val’oen Dawnspiral and her twin sister Eynwen Dawnspiral grew up together from the very beginning over their time, and never were they separated. Gossiping and telling secrets; they trusted one another… Trusted to never betray or lie. They’d go around the wretched old town quickly and quietly to try not to be noticed as they were quite shy and reserved by nature. Though when alone they would and still do show their true colours; with Val’oen she was very dramatic with her words and expressive using her whole body to talk along with speech.

When they weren’t walking around town the forest was their home. The giant looming tries covered the sky so only slithers of daylight would come through; and a big beautiful river that stretched for miles curled around trees and hills making a path for them from their special place and out again.

One day when they were walking together they came across a grand tree that was taller than the rest and very easy to climb! So with their childish instincts up they went. Val’eon climbed quickly and recklessly, stepping on branches causing leaves to fall on her sister; scraping the sap and bark off of the sides as she used them for support; and tearing off twigs that got in her way. The thrill of climbing so quickly like a squirrel made her excited and ecstatic. She quickly forgot about her twin falling behind as the adrenaline rushed through out her entire body. Free; that is the word that was sticking in Val’oen’s mind as she raced further and further up… Free.

Soon after Val’oen caught her breath and it went to a steady pace and the adrenaline had died down a sudden jolt of sickening fear rose. Her twin, Eynwen- where was she? Quickly looking down the tree she was not there… All sorts of thoughts came to her mind, “Did she fall?” “Has she died?” “Was this my fault for rushing ahead...?” Not being able to bare it anymore she scampered down the tree a bit more carefully this time even though her heart was still racing and the feeling of vomit rising was there to stay. When she had gotten down to the base of the tree and onto the lush green grass a moment of pure happiness and relief washed over her. Eynwen was sitting down digging in the dirt. Val’oen didn’t bother to ask any questions and ran up and hugged Enywen tightly, as if they were never going to see each other again.

As they got older both moved to the city of Oren. Eynwen got a job at a tavern to bring home some coin, but Val’oen wasn’t one for sitting down and working indoors all day. She roamed around the town looking for work that was fun and exciting… Though that wasn’t always the case; sometimes she had to tie a knot (or untie a knot) for an elderly sailor; maybe it was that she had to carry a load of boxes to a shop; sometimes even just cleaning… This didn’t matter to her though! Val’oen was okay with doing something new everyday and not perfecting it. It made her glad to know she had helped in someway: Even if majority of the townspeople weren’t the nicest. Some of the work she had was pleasing to her though! Once it was she had to chase a wild boar and capture it. With a group of four other people they run around like madmen trying to pin it down. This gave Val’oen the rush of excitement she had once felt when she was younger and she loved it! Some other things also took her interests- like botany and plants! She would usually study books on flowers and trees for hours on end. Her favourite flower was the Fire Flower as it is deadly to itself and others.

At night after her day of various jobs Val’oen would go down to the inn her twin Eynwen walked in. At first she hated the smell of the rotting wood and hay it was built out of, but soon came to loved it, as it was the smell of her home and safe-place.

Eynwen and her would always greet with a hug and smile; gleeful to see each other again (even though it had only been a day). Val’oen would sit down at her table that was one right in the center of the room as she could watch as her twin served and chatted with other people. Then after a couple of mere minutes she would be served a mug of ale and the days special meal (her favourite was the beef and potato stew). Val’oen then would exchange a few words with a couple of “friends” she had made over the time her sister had been working there.

Soon after she decided to tackle the world by herself; leaving her sister. This was tough for the both of them but the best decision in the long run. Sometimes Val'oen will take time out of her day to reflect on her treasured memories with Eynwen and think about when she might go back to that inn; though it'll be a long time from now.

Personality Traits: Short tempered (she has a very particular expectation of people, and if these expectations are not met she'll get frustrated and angry)

Protective (only of loved ones and very close friends)

Helpful (she's always willing to help people, but that's only if she gets something out of it, being coin or favours)

Impatient (having certain expectations of people also falls under this; people and things around her have to work quickly- or well, she thinks they do.)

Carefree (usually she is a very untroubled person and aims to be happy most of the time. Meaning she doesn't really care what people think of her [this also makes her a bit hypocritical])

Inquisitive (she is a very curious person, always wanting to know what people are talking about and what's going on. This makes her very prone to eavesdrop on people.)

Ambitions: She doesn't really aspire to be anything. Going about the world on her own at her up-beat pace is fine. Though if she had to have a job it'd be a florist or botanist and that takes her fancy the most.

Strengths/Talents: Navigation (from the stars, to the rivers, to the moss on the rocks she can follow it all. Because if she can she can always find home)

Identifying nature related stuff (of all the time and effort she's put into randomly studying nature as made her capable of pointing out different flowers, trees and rocks)

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Gore (blood and dead people has never settled well with her... Making her weak in the knees and practically unable to move sometimes)

Close range-fighting (swords, daggers and knives have never come of use in her life, so when given one she isn't the best at using it.)

Appearance: She stands around 5''10. Her figure a little bit on the chubby side as food is sometimes hard to resist. Her bust and hips are a fair size. She never had time for doing her hair, so it runs wild and is very long (nearly past her hips). A little scar can be seen going vertically down her lips.
