Elara was born to the name of Talila in 1435 on the island of Vailor to two Mali’ame in the city of Laureh’lin, she was an only child throughout her young life and had trouble making friends. She tended to be rather tomboyish and didn’t live up to her mother's expectations as a proper young lady, they would often butt heads when it came to this topic. Her father, however, accepted her daughter's ways and would often take her for archery practice and sparring when he was training in the wood elven army, the Sirame. This would spark fights between her parents often, and led to a lot of conflicting emotions for young Elara. As the fights continued to happen, she ended up distancing herself from her parents and spent much of her time out in the forests. Going for long walks and interacting with the wild life. Only a few years later, her parents divorced and with a rather overwhelming amount of problems and emotions, she left her home with nothing on her back but her father's stolen bow and some food.
She lived out most of her life travelling the realm of Vailor, spending nights on the streets of Felsen or Haelun’or as she made her way around. Unknown to her, her parents had sent out search parties over the years to try to find her. But due to her constant movement, it was nearly impossible to find her and they pronounced her dead only a few years later. Upon realizing this, she then changed her name and began to plan her travels to Axios with the descendants. Her plan went smoothly and she snuck onto one of the departing boats in Laureh’lin, ironically it happened to be the same boat her parents were on. With the supposed death of their child, it had brought them back together. Elara avoided her parents on the boat at every possible opportunity and as soon as she arrived to Axios, she quickly fled to the forests. From there on she has lived her life with a new identity, travelling throughout the realm and taking opportunities as they come.
Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) As mentioned, she tends to stray to the more tomboyish side of her personality. Due to living in the forest, she doesn’t often have the best hygiene habits but couldn’t really care less in all honesty. She enjoys wildlife and the nature around her, finding home amongst the trees and animals.
Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) Despite being rather content living in the forest, and being rather tomboyish… Elara has a soft spot for children and would like to someday settle down with her own family so that she may give her children a better life than the one who she had. She’d like to raise them to be how they want to be, instead of hindering like them like her mother had when she was younger.
Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) Elara has a high aptitude in archery and hunting. She likes to consider herself one with nature and often benefits from it. With her tomboyish nature, she often doesn’t care what others think about her and finds a certain pride in it. Allowing her to do how she pleases.
Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) Her lack of caring about what others think can often come off as arrogant, making it even harder to make friends. She also isn’t very good at thinking through a situation before jumping into it, and tends to have a bad mouth. Often cursing others out.
Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) Elara has dark skin that contrasts her bright green eyes. Her hair is in brown dreadlocks and often adorned with golden beads and other trinkets. She’s often seen in anything comfortable or anything that gives her more mobility. She has a scar on her upper lip from an injury when she was younger and a few others from her early sparring.
