Character’s age: 19 years of age

Biography:  Born to a Blacksmith and a farmer in Rytsburg, Calkar grew up in a small community where everyone was willing to pitch in and help their fellow neighbor. Willing to carry his own weight despite how young he was at the time, A five-year-old Calkar fell into the Chicken enclosure and ended up agitating the roster which attacked him with beak and talons. As a result, Calkar is reluctant to have anything to do with the farm animal.

As a firm believer in hard labor, Calkar is disproving of magic, seeing it as cheating one's way out of work.

He quickly learned both his parents trades afterward, while he enjoyed blacksmithing he was more gifted in ranch work. At age 11 Calkar bore witness to a group of thugs who raided his village, killing one of the villagers. His father the blacksmith, left to either hire mercenaries or make his case to the Baron to retaliate. His father was never heard from again.

In the following years, his village had traded some merchants for a Cave Cow, and Calkar became fascinated with the foreign creature. His curiosity about the rest of the world growing, Calkar soon turned 19 and set off on his own adventure. Hoping to meet dwarves, Kharajyr, and elves, find the fate of his father, and maybe start his own ranch to raise livestock. His first stop was Felsen, hoping to find like-minded individuals.

Personality Traits: A skilled craftsman, Calkar is well gifted in blacksmithing and leatherwork. Haveing grew up watching his mother on a ranch, he is also quite skilled raising and breeding pigs, sheep, and cattle.

Ambitions: While currently pursuing wanderlust for adventure and to improve his skills in battle, he does intend to settle down and run either a successful Blacksmiths shop or a large cattle ranch. Likes hard honest work, cooked mutton, and Cave Cows/Moosrooms. Dislikes chickens, threats on the lives of his allies, and magic.

Strengths/Talents: A skilled blacksmith capable of working metal, wood, and leather into various tools and weapons. He is also quite proficient in breeding most livestock.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Untrusting of Redstone, and magic, he ignores their existence, leaving him vulnerable. He is also a very poor fighter, combine that with his willingness to step in to defend his friends and he puts himself quite at risk, though he is training to correct that flaw. He is also somewhat of a poor salesman, caring little for money and prefers to trade item for item.

Appearance: Dressed in plain, peasant clothes consisting of greenish pants, brown tunic, and a gray cloak. Blue eyes, and dark brown hair. A little higher than normal, but well within the normal height range for humans.
