    Biography
Cedric was born and raised in the humble town of Willow Hollow by his father, a well known fisherman. The Oakenhook name was well renowned among Willow Hollow, or at least his father liked to think so. Cedric wielded a rod before he could even construct the words to make conversation.
All through Cedric's childhood, only ever seemed to speak highly of two things. Knox the pumpkin lord and a legendary fish that lived around Willow Hollow. He constantly explained how it's been the fish that he and his father before him had been searching for their entire life. It was said to be so large and so beautifully colored that at night you could see it glistening beneath the water's surface, like a beacon among darkness.
One day, Cedric and his father were fishing on a boat outside of Willow Hollow. They had caught nothing all day. Suddenly, Cedric saw something. He stood up to get a closer look but got knocked out of the boat and bumped his head on the way in. His father had hooked the very fish he had searching for his entire life. He struggled with the fish for seconds, with a huge grin on his face. Then realised he had not seen Cedric resurface. In anger, he let go of the rod and dove into the water after him.
As they both resurfaced, his father dragged him back to shore. Dizzy but conscious, Cedric apologized to his father, however his father turned and left. Not only had he lost the fish he had been hunting his entire life, but also the famous Oaken rod that had been passed down through generations of Oakenhooks. Cedric felt so guilty he spent every dawn till dusk searching for the fish.
Years had passed and his father became very ill. One afternoon Cedric had become so exhausted he fell asleep on the boat. At night, he awoke to the uncontrollable spinning of his reel. He grasped onto the rod as tightly as he could, but was dragged into the water. He trailed behind a bright glow, reeling himself closer to it. It was the fish. The bioluminesence of the fish lit up the water. As he finally reeled himself close enough to it, he grabbed onto it with all of his might and dragged it to shore. He held the fish down, reached for his knife and held it high above his head, ready to kill it. But something was different. The fish lay calm, staring back into Cedric's eyes with the same look his father had gave him his entire life. Cedric hesitated, eager to please his father but simply could not end the fish's life. Cedric stood up and brought the fish back into the water, releasing it.
He sat on the shore, disappointed with his weakness. However, minutes later the glow of the fish slowly and calmly returned towards him. As the fish came closer to the shore, it released something and swam away. The shadow of the object drifted towards the shore. Cedric reached into the water and found the same Oaken rod his father had lost.
As he returned home, he tried giving it to his father, who laid on his death bed. However his father smiled and gave it back to Cedric, smiling  and uttering in his dying breath "she's beautiful, isn't she?".
After his father's death, Cedric continued to maintain his house and fish for Willow Hollow until 1571, where the descendant races arrived in The Isles of Axios. Rather than following the descendant races, Cedric sailed by himself to distant lands. In times he became lost, he'll swear blind that the same fish would guide him like a beacon, or perhaps it was the excessive alcohol he consumed on the voyage. Now, Cedric has arrived in the Isles of Axios and a new journey awaits.
