  1. What’s your Minecraft account name?: Jakeman664

What timezone are you in?: GMT -5

    How old are you?: 22

Are you aware the online content on this server may not be appropriate for children under the age of 13? You won’t be denied for being under 13): Yes

Have you read and agreed to the rules?: Yes

What’s the rule you agree with the most?: I like the rule on "Lawless Raiding" having a cooldown of 1-2 days allows a settlement to rebuild and fortify against future raids, and having no cooldown would just let a group harass a group until they quit. The time limit is also nice as it prevents a group from just occupying a town until everyone in logs out or dies.

Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense? (if so we can help clear it up!): Nope all seem clear.

How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: Friend told me about it

Link(s) to past Whitelist Applications (If applicable): N/A

Have you logged into the server yet? (You cannot be whitelisted without logging in at least once): Yes

    Definitions

Feel free to Google the answers or browse our forums, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not those of another website or person! Plagiarizing will result in the automatic denial  of your application!

What is roleplaying?: Living the life of your character in game, progressing their story through their actions and opinions not your own.

What is metagaming?: If my friend told me “Come here quickly I just found a massive horde of diamonds!” or “Quickly help I am being attacked by bandits!” and I went to either without being told in character by someone witnessing the event that would be using information my in game character would not have and be considered metagaming.

What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: If I was angry at a customer or worker and I said “I throw my hammer at X hitting them in the face” that would be powergaming as it does not allow the recipient to have a possibility to counter or react to my action.

    In-Character Information
Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Character’s name: (what do you want your character to be called?) Banbar Boulderdweller

Character’s sex: (male or female?) Male

Character’s race: (you can find all the playable races here.) Cavern Dwarf

Character’s age: (upon application, your character must be 18 or older, and depending on the race, they can be over five hundred years old!) 85

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore): (where does your character come from?; where have they traveled to?; what year were they born in? et cetera.)

Banbar was born in Kal’Akash in 1514 to a minor smithing clan. He joined the Mining and Smithing Guild in 1532 and completed his apprenticeship and became a journeyman as Kal’Nerroth was being completed in 1554. He stayed with the guild for a time, making arms and armor for the legion. In 1580 he decided to begin his own smithy among the many shops of Kal’Nerroth. However, competition proved fierce as the master smiths and shops competed for military and nobility contracts. In late 1594 he decided leave Kal’Nerroth and head for The Federation of Suitica where he felt jobs and gold would be much more plentiful than in the city of master smiths, He began his travel from the city of Kal’Omith taking the boat there. He arrived in early 1595 and set out on his quest to make his name a legend.

The city was quite different from what Banbar had expected, the openness and liberalness of the society was in stark contrast to the much more traditional qualities instilled in him during his time in Kal’Nerroth. He came to like it quickly however (the no taxes part especially). In 1596 Banbar was coming back from a mining expedition in the Serif Mountains when he was attacked by bandits, a passing dark elf caravan guard named Rolland came to his aid, and they have been partners ever since, Banbar making the products and Rolland keeping the shop safe from troublemakers and rowdy customers. In the 3 years since he has taken advantage of the prosperous trade and peace the federation has between the other nations to sell his wares to a wider market than he ever could have had in Kal’Nerroth.

Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) He has a small stone from Kal’Nerroth he keeps on a gold chain that he refuses to ever take off (he swears he is not homesick though), every night after the shop closes he goes to the local tavern for a keg of ale . He likes spending time at the forge, preferring to talk to the forge instead of people. He dislikes rude and arrogant customers, and people who call his work shoddy.

Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) A master weapon/armor smith renowned through the land, and a pile of gold and gems to match that reputation.

Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) Finishing customer orders on time, assessing ore quality and only using the finest ore in his products, has excellent aim with his hammer when he is angry, good with a battleaxe.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) Incredibly stubborn, refuses to take advice from anyone he deems inferior to himself, and even then, only very rarely takes advice from the few people he considers his superior. Quick to anger should someone try to “correct” his masterpiece he is currently working on.

Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) Pale, 4 feet even, his previously dark hair when he lived underground has lightened considerably from the sun of the over world. His hands are rough and calloused from long hours spent at the forge and swinging his hammer, not much hair remains on his arms from it all being singed away by the heat of the molten metal. On his right arm a scar from an accident in his training is still visible today.
