What’s the rule you agree with the most?: metagaming, I have played a lot of DnD while underway I still have my PHP I donated the other books to the ship so they could keep playing. Have you ever played a game called munchkin? You basically metagame the entire time it can be fun but the best way to show metagaming is just playing that game.
Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense? (if so we can help clear it up!): not necessarily rules just confusion on race and other things Ill figure it out though.

What is roleplaying?: so role playing is you perceiving yourself as something or someone else and acting as they would based on backstory / personality: acting spontaneously out of that can be breaking RP and in some cases it can be justified but we don’t have a DM just the other player base to talk it out with.
What is metagaming?: metagaming is a lot of things but the most common form of metagaming in RP is the utilization of information your character should not know. Like stating locations that another member of the party has not shared to everyone yet or knowing how a magic circle works with no magic backroad at all.
What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: power gamming in a text based RPG or RP with another player is robbing the option or ability of another player to make sound choices on their end of dialog like stabbing the other player in the heart out of nowhere when you did not even discuss violence or death before RP even started. Not to be mistaken with someone RPing themselves into the situation and you as the other player react properly.

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.
Character’s name: Coranzen Mizzrym (Rolland for ease of conversation in game and how I will write his bio only a select few will know his true name)
Character’s sex: Male
Character’s race: Dark Elf
Character’s age: 128
Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore): Born in 1471 Rolland was orphaned at a really young age requiring him to spend many of his most youthful years in an orphanage. In the year 1483 at around 12 years old he was adopted by a fake family and indoctrinated into the mercenary band called the Hammer and Sickle. For years he was beaten and trained into a soldier always taught to speak when spoken to and any time he was out of line he payed the price in blood. He as all of the recruits are either taken from Orphanages or just general scum of the earth were taught that the Hammer and Sickle is greater than them and above all else must survive. Rolland played that in his head over and over when one day he was captured in early 1513 during the Orc-dwarf war while he was scouting ahead as a hired mercenary for the dwarves. His time in captivity the physical and mental torture left him scared none of his training as a child prepared him for that. When he was released at the end of the war he found that his mercenary band had been destroyed by an Orc raiding party the battle left massive casualties on both sides leaving the Hammer and Sickle a forgotten memory.
In 1594 Rolland finds himself doing the odd job in Axios a caravan guard here a bodyguard there all the while wandering the land with his purpose forgotten long ago. In 1596 Rolland near the City of Sutica in serif Mountains with a caravan finds a dwarf in peril attacked by bandits risking his caravan Rolland makes the decision to fight off the bandits and makes an unlikely friend in a dwarf named Banbar Boulderdweller. BanBar and Rolland make their way to Sutica with the caravan following. After they arrive Rolland gets payed the caravan firing him on the spot for running off and savin some dwarf. Banbar approaches him and offers him a more permanent job as his Guard Rolland agrees and has traveled with Banbar since.
Personality Traits: Fiercely loyal to his friends and allies. Extremely kind if you manage to break through his social anxiety and be someone he would think a friend. He finds a good fight invigorating
Ambitions: work with his allies and assist them in greatness -Crew before self-
Strengths/Talents: Rouge/ Ranger styled fighting / martial arts, archery, light footed, stealthy: Generally ok with the other crafts and trades nothing too special besides any racial traits
Weaknesses/Inabilities: social anxiety’s when meeting new people on friendly terms, Signs of PTSD while sleeping causes him to never sleep soundly. Dislikes drinking but caves to peer pressure.
Appearance: (Height: 6’0” Muscular as possible for a dark elf scars throughout body “think of a Witcher and the scars they have”) (Hair / Color: White and short ) (Eyes: light red ) (Skin color: Fair for a dark elf) **normally wearing a light chain and leather armor mix with small plates in some vital areas maximized really for a rouge/ ranger
