What isroleplaying?: Roleplaying is creating a character, their backstory/personality, and placing them in another world; you then, using emotes and chat, act as if this character would in the situations that present himself to him.
What ismetagaming?: Metagaming is using information that your character doesn’t know but you do. For example reading things on skype or voice chat and using the knowledge through your character, even though they haven’t been told in game.
What ispower-emoting (powergaming)?: Forcing RP on another Roleplayer, meaning that they can’t respond to your emote because the emote you’ve written is definite (Instead of attempting). Also unrealistic RP, stuff like backflipping and punching through walls if your character isn’t capable of that.

Stefan Fellegvar was born in Vailor, his father was a soldier for the Holy Orenian Empire, hailing from a border village in the Empire’s eastern reaches. His mother died when he was very young to a plague during the dead of winter. After his loss, Stefan joined the army under his father’s guidance and fought in many battles. When he returned from his military service, still young, he took to reading and writing, hoping that he could nurture his mind rather than his sword. He enlisted in a library within a small monastery, helping sort the knowledge and reading in his spare time.
After a time he left the library, Stefan moved to Johannesburg and worked in the taverns there, befriending many of the poor class around the city’s slums. With his knowledge and charisma,, he took to guiding the less fortunate towards god, as his time in the monastery had opened his mind to religion; for the Flesh is weak, but the spirit is strong.

Stefan is a polite and smart man, he likes to read and write, he also tends to be loyal to his liege. He is reserved and well spoken.
Stefan avoids conflict with fellow man, but is capably suited to defend himself. He is averted to alcoholism despite working in and around the likes of drunkards.
Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) Stefan wishes to travel the continent of Tahn to visit the many settlements and learn their cultures.
Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?)

Bad with a bow.

His nose has clearly been broken and his battles’ past have not left him unmarked nor unscarred. At a glance you might be to notice the large scar running across his right cheek, where a sabre apparently sliced deeply.
