In return for their loyal service, the Crown does also promise enforce the laws of succession decided upon by the House of Errmark, and protect them from all threats, both domestic and foreign in nature.

Revised on the 16th of the Amber Cold, 1600

The monarchy of the Kingdom of Courland hereby adheres to an Agnatical-Cognetic Succesion system. The eldest male child of the current monarch would inherit the Crown, in a cycle until there are no more living males apparent. If the male dynasty was no longer apparent, then the crown would be passed on to the eldest brother. If the appearance of brothers was fanciful the inheritance would pass onto the uncles, and great-uncles, etcetera, etcetera, until their are no more males, in which case, it would be passed onto the eldest female.

The dynasty of the Kingdom of Courland, is the House of Staunton.
