#Previous History
Java
- 6 Years.
- Functional programming in Java, Streams, JavaFX, Swing, Reflection, JUnit, Mockito, LWJGL, Android, Concurrency, Serialisation, JSSC, JDBC and more.
C++
- 2 Years.
- Low-level hardware libraries APIs written for Arduino platforms and MBED FRDMK64F.
Python
- 3 Years.
- Writing libraries for XBee API integration on MESH topology networks for packet fragmentation of fixed size buffer hardware.
C#
- Not as fundamental as others, but still a fair grasp.
#Previous History in Java
- Taught from a young age, spent 3 years developing Bukkit Plugins and later BunjeeCord Plugins.
- 2 Years at University focusing in OO fundamentals.
- At MSc level focused on Advanced Java Programming techniques, streams, FX, Testing, design patterns etc.
- Current dissertation research in Keylogger Semantics and Feature extraction on android based systems (i.e fake Java).
- Teaching Java across multiple years as an Assistant Lecturer at University.
#Any prior experience with Bukkit/Spigot/Etc API?:
Yes. I ran a Minecraft server called HcRaid for around 2 and half years in which I co-developed (pair programming) nearly all our plugins aside bare essentials. I had the majority saved with a small amount publicly available on my Github. There's a lot to discuss on this topic and probably the most important question regarding my capability of an application.
#Public repositories, open source works etc:
Certainly.
- Github
- Alternatively I can supply unlisted reps for embedded hardware programs or functional programs written in Erlang.
- Dissertation (IOT Based)
#Do you acknowledge that you understand you will still be required to create a Spigot Plugin?
Of course.
#Other
It's probably no surprise that you may be wondering who I am and what is all of this (Given my no doubt little post history). I used to play this server a very long time ago, there was a YouTuber called PetriDaGamerNerd who actually advertised on here quite some time back and I was friends with him, I think we may have invaded an Orc Kingdom or along those lines.
It's been quite a while since I brandished my Bukkit/Spigot skills and I enjoyed the server and it's professionalism and decided I'd see if I could apply for a development role for a bit of spare time fun.
To give you a little more idea of who I am - my old account name was danslayerx and my name is Dan. I'm an Assistant Lecturer at the University of Kent studying Advanced Computer Science with a First class honours degree in Computer Science. I used to develop a lot on Minecraft before I went to University but since then only used it as a means to further assessments and teach newcomers to Java. Currently I teach modules to Second Year students - modules including Functional Concurrent Programming and Databases and the Web. Previously I taught Object Orientated Programming, Algorithms Correctness & Efficiency and Web Development.
MSc focuses heavily in security with and I'm a committee method of UKCCSS (University of Kent Cyber Security Society) who actively engage in CTF and Attack and defend scenarios. We're going to Cambridge next weekend to take on 13 other Universities in a CTF arranged by GCHQ and Cambridge. Current dissertation research is in an unexplored field involving utilising smartphones as keyloggers based on Discrete Fourier Transforms of accelerometer data and frequency of sound.
Basically - I really enjoyed Bukkit and Minecraft plugins, I'm really familiar with them, I have a huge amount of Java and general CompSci knowledge and played the servers back in 2012. Let me know if you're interested!
Cheers,
Dan

Jeopardy style for sure! Had a try at the Boston Key Party recently and it was incredible to see teams of up to 80 people competing at a time. Right now it's more of an academic interest but I am hoping to further study a Doctorate in Cyber Security - potentially Stenography.
Shall do!
