The Truestides are a family beneath the notice of many in the halfling community, mostly because they are almost never around to begin with. The family appear to be simple farmers and fishermen at first glance, but beyond the roots of the family tree are the many leaves blown in the winds of the world, all drifting from village to town to city. These folk are the gamblers, the merchants, the adventurers, the thieves of the family, the “wayward folk” who have unfortunately drifted outside the civilized and comfortable life that is often experienced within halfling culture. The Truestrides are truly odd folk, unpredictable, intoxicated with the lustrous pull of travel and adventure.
Kelora is just one of those many “weird folk”, and her Truestride nature has reared its head on occasion or two. She even tried to wrestle a great barracuda she once caught, although she failed quite miserably. Kelora was born of two loving parents, whose names were Angela Longsbritch and Brimbo Truestride, who currently reside in the town of Willow Hollow. Kelora is the oldest of two, her sister being naught but a year younger than her, and named “Lostro”. Currently, Kelora has traveled to the island of Ceru with her sister to watch over the inheritance of their uncle Marmo Truestride. On the path to Reedsborough, they imagine their inheritance, perhaps a luxurious burrow for them to spend their days? Maybe a beachside cottage for them to fish in, drink, and swim by? Only time will tell...

Kelora is a true member of the Truestrides, although she may not know it yet. She is quite athletic (for a halfling), she is confident yet cautious, she is clever and curious, and when she is assigned to a task she is quite dutiful in seeing it through.
One quirk of hers, as outsiders would call it, is her devotion to the Potato Lord “Billy Bob”, and in defending his integrity despite the amount of non-believers. She also has a fascination with fish, and will often prefer eating fish over anything else, having fish for pets, and even has a stuffed fish she hung on her wall back home. She also has developed the usual halfling habit of smoking, which she often does while fishing. She also enjoys referring to her dad as “Bimbo T” or just “Bimbo”, although she does so fondly.
She loves a good conspiracy, and even has that Truestide itch for adventure, although she denies any sort of unnatural urges existence. She will often try to learn someones or somethings entire story, although she will not read to attain such knowledge, as she has a particular hate for books. Finally, she hates sober slackers who do nothing but waste time or sit around.
Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?)
Kelora is a very ambitious halfling, even if her ambitions are simple. She wants to be the greatest fisherman, or woman, in all of Axios, and seeks to prove herself. She also aspires to spend the rest of her days by the sea, although this is somewhat contradicted by her itch for adventure and mystery.
Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?)
Kelora is a top notch fisherwoman, she also does a bit of tinkering on the side, and she also is quite a wonderful climber. She has caught barracuda, she has climbed great trees, and she sometimes even makes her own fishing nets.
Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?)
One thing Kelora needs to get a grip on is her perception of the passage of time. Kelora often daydreams or gets absorbed in a particular task that she often loses track of time. Because of this, she can get somewhat distracted and isn’t quite good at fulfilling deadlines or schedules. However, when she does pay attention she forges through almost every task set before her with mighty speed.

Kelora Truestride is a halfling woman about 2’5 Ft tall, with brown curly hair, a ponytail, slightly pointed ears, and a pair of amber eyes. She is often seen wearing more fancy clothing, such as a cotton short-sleeved shirt with a brown vest over the top and gray shorts, as well as a blue glass earing. She does not possess many scars other than one on her upper thigh which was the result of an accident with farming tools and chairs… Despite the fancy clothing, you can tell she is a working woman from the dirt on her hands and feet, as well as the calloused palms on her hands.
