Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to theserver lore): Fitzgerald was born in the city of Johannesburg, his father a local blacksmith. During his formative years he spent most of his time following his father around the smithy and quickly began to learn the trade. When Fitz was twelve his mother grew sick and passed shortly after. This left his father in a poor state, causing his father to go into a deep grief and spend his days living off the bottle. This forced Fitz to take over the smithy for a time, helping improve his love for his craft. At the age of 18 the city of Johannesburg was evacuated in preparation for the rebel invasion, Fitzgerald being one of the many to be evacuated during. Fitzgerald’s father was one of the many to stay behind, and was killed in the blast.
Fitzgerald, torn that the Empire would kill his own father, was unsure where to go. He eventually found a small fishing village near Metz. Fitzgerald spent his next few years in this village, taking over as village Blacksmith due to it’s current being well beyond his years. Due to Fitzgerald's city years, he did not know how to live off the land as most of the village folks did. In exchange for the Smithy work he did, he was kept well fed. After two years Fitzgerald fell for one of the village girls, causing them to plan to wed. Unfortunately the girl perished in a hunting accident, leaving Fitzgerald in a deep grief as his father once was. Yet he handled his different as he dedicated himself to his craft, spending all his days smithing. When news of the Courland-Haense war finally reached his village, Fitzgerald realized there was much opportunity to be made for a blacksmith. He packed up his things, readied his horse and rode out to set up a new smithy.
Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) Enjoys a good stew, a simple man looking to find a purpose in life, likes smithing, dislikes farming and also has a strong dislike to alcohol due to seeing how his father was during his years as a drunk.
Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) Fitzgerald aspires to use his talents to help become one of the world's premier smiths, making the finest arms and arms
Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) Fitzgerald is an excellent smith, a decent swordsman and can make a mean stew.
Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) Fitzgerald is an awful farmer and fisher, having to trade his smithing skills for food while residing in the village. Fitzgerald is also awful with a bow, rumored to have shot himself once.
