What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is where you kinda put yourself in someone else’s shoes. You act how they would in whatever situation you’re in, which may be totally different from how you would in real life!

What is metagaming?: Metagaming is where you take OOC info and use it IC, like if I got a Skype message from my King in character saying “this guy bobby is a criminal” and I acted on it in character, that would be metagaming.

What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Powergaming is when you force an action upon another player without saying that you attempt to perform said action. For example, *Decapitates Falthor* is wrong. The correct emote would be, *Attempts to swing towards Falthor’s neck with the adamantine blade!*

Majorian’s parents fled Johannesburg, the former Holy Oren imperial capital after it fell. After fleeing, his parents settled down in the heartland town of Metz where they conceived Majorian 5 years later.  Majorian Valerius was born in the heartland town of Metz. Fathered by a upper middle class merchant named Marian, and mothered by a stay at home mom named Aurelia. The small family lived a rather ordinary life with not even a lick of trouble. Being an only child, Majorian didn’t have company at home of his age so he seeked out friends amongst his peers in his small  local neighborhood. One friend in particular became Majorian’s best friend, this was Ian. Majorian and Ian did almost everything together, including learning under the same mentor. The two boys learned to read, write, and how to fight with a blade.  Majorian's childhood was almost dreamlike, without any sort of tragedy. 

The two friends trained under the  d'Amuary levy to protect the kingdom of Lorraine when they turned 18  years of age. The young men were eager to serve their country and were ready to fight side by side as brothers in arms.  After a year of simply enforcing the law of the land a war broke out.  The Lorraine Civil War, the  d'Amuary levy took the side of the loyalists who eventually came out on top after a series of bloody conflicts and ordeals. In the fighting, Ian perished at the hands of a rebel soldier marking Majorian’s first life tragedy. At this point Majorian was 19 years of age with some battle experience under his belt and a life ahead of him. Only the future will tell where Majorian’s path will lead from here.  

Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?)  Personality Traits: Passionate, Devout, Honorable, Loving, and Protective.    Habits: Can’t go without writing an entry in his diary, almost always has a quill and book on hand to document his days.

Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) Majorian aspires to marry into nobility matrilineally to provide his future generations with a blessed existence. In order to do this he will have to make a name for himself, perhaps through combat.

Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) Reading, writing, and swordplay.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) Majorian can always get better at swordplay,  and hand to hand combat. Something Majorian is really bad at is farming and mining, he has always been a fighter rather than a gatherer.

Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) Majorian is 5ft 10 with dark black hair and chestnut brown eyes. He is a bulky man with a good amount of muscle mass while not looking chubby.
