Born in Norland, Grant lived a regular life. His parents were poor farmer folk and he enjoyed his life with them. At the age of 14, Grant had to see his father go to war. He was a strong Courland supporter, and helped them fight in the Battle of Elba. Unfortunately, Grant's father perished that day to an arrow in the eye, and never returned home. Grant understood his father's sacrifice, and while he missed him dearly he knew it was for the greater good. Grant, only living with his mother, took over the farm. He enjoyed it, but always wished for something more exiting. He looked up to his father, and wanted to be him in a way. He began to train using wooden sticks and his friends from neighboring farms. He would usually win. Most of his friends were older than him, and eventually went to go fight in the war. Grant tried to go with them, but his mother forbid it and the recruiters were skeptical of the 14 year old boy. He tried to sneak in one time, but was caught by one of the generals for being underage. That would be the last time Grant would try that.
Grant is 23 now. After saving money from his family's farm, he looks to purchase a sword and maybe even some armor. He plans to go to Alexandria and join the Courland military, hopefully rising through it’s ranks. Grant seeks experience and training so that he may become the best warrior in Axios. One day, Grant would like to have a family. Maybe with his old neighbor, Elizabeth. Grant had always liked her, and always secretly wanted to marry her but he knew he needed to join the army. He hopes that he will return from battle, so that he may find her again.

Strong, stubborn, willful, not book smart, enjoys the simple things in life.
