  1. Out-Of-Character Information

Please do your best to correct spelling and grammatical errors, this is an RP server and writing is the main form of communication!

    What’s your Minecraft account name?:

    Sad_Fellows

    What timezone are you in?:

    PST

    How old are you?:

    18

Are you aware the content and interactions on this server may not be appropriate for children under the age of 13? (You won’t be denied for being under 13):

    Yes.

Have you read and agreed to the rules?:

    Yes.

What’s the rule you agree with the most?:

If your character commits suicide, he or she is permanently killed. This is also the case if you use knowledge of the monks to disregard the threat of death - If you're about to die and roleplay along the lines of "Kill me, I'll just be revived", you will have to PK. Note that ultimately, this is a staff decision. Attempting to force or trick another player into breaking this rule will be punished.

Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense? (if so we can help clear it up!):

    None.

How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?:

    Google search.

Link(s) to past Whitelist Applications (If applicable):

    None.

Have you logged into the server yet? (You cannot be whitelisted without logging in at least once):

    Yes.

    Definitions

Feel free to Google the answers or browse our forums, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not those of another website or person! Plagiarizing will result in the automatic denial  of your application!

    What is roleplaying?:

The art of playing another persona.

    What is metagaming?:

Using outside knowledge to an in-character advantage. (i.e. Mary is down the well. John does not know this, but rescues her anyways via sheer "luck")

    What is power-emoting (powergaming)?:

Using emotes to exploit another player's inability to react to them. (i.e. John swings and kills Larry. Larry did not have any time to decide how to play this out.)

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore):

A simple man, that's all Dolan is. He is like the countless other Highlanders of his region - working farms and fighting the frontier. Life is as it should be. There are few twists and turns, but ultimately it is a good life. A life befitting one of his station. A common man earning his keep by the sweat of his labor. There were no Uruk raids to be had, no mysterious magicks that claimed him from his home, no strange afflictions that wiped out his village, Dolan was blessed in a land full of unfortunate events. As stated before, his is a simple life, and he is of simple but good people. Upon his coming of age, Dolan, being the youngest of four, was free to choose his future: as a farmer, woodworker, or attempt a larger life with the clergy. The young man turned his sights to the church, in hopes that he could earn more income for his beloved family by serving God and country. His journey to priesthood, and the cities far from his home led him astray. The eighteen-year old had never before been exposed to the harshness of nature and the incredible capacity for cruelty in the world.

War with the now dissolved Holy Orenian Empire had changed the young man. His service to the Kingdom of Courland in their atrocious Uprising was one of mere foot-solider. With some time on the road, one would think Dolan had gained some sort of finesse and skill with weaponry and masculine strengths. In truth, the first conflict Dolan had served in saw him arse-deep in a puddle of his own piss, his pike laying by his side. The years of conflict following were hard on the lands of the North, and with time Dolan became used to the truths of this world. With the end of the first war and the opening of the second between Courland and Haense, Dolan's previous experience brought him into the grasps of several different mercenary groups and a handful of armies regardless of their allegiance to Haense or Courland. In the end, the man emerged once again - this time with several scars and a missing eye.

Dolan, the short-lived flames of inspiration that his kind are, sat by an inn one night and recalled his life: a common man, not proud of his actions and missing simpler times when war was not always on his mind and food was always at his table. Realizing how lonely his life on the road was, the man broke into tears. Afraid to return home, afraid of what he would find, Dolan looks now to the only life he knows: the road and its endless journey. Whether it be in a drunken stupor, half-dead state, or a shattered man, Dolan has given his life completely to the road before him. A simple man, and a road at his feet.

Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?)

Dolan is a talkative fellow, desiring affection and inclusion but ultimately afraid of its consequences. Depending on the person, he may be brash and aggressive or passive and curious. After years of war and conflict, Dolan simply wishes to see what the world has to offer. Given his experience on the road, he has dedicated some time to the art of woodworking and craftsmanship, but is ultimately still a novice compared to any woodworker dedicated to village-life. Given his experience across different lands, his dialect is one shaped by experience and exposure to the outside world. At the end of the day, he desires a cold pint to welcome his lips but ultimately resorts to water from the pigpen at whatever village or inn he stays at for the evening - if he finds a village or inn.

Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?)

A wanderer, Dolan hopes that he will one day find a home that will welcome him into its loving and carefree embrace. Where and when he will find this home, however, lies up to the people he meets and the future conflicts he must face.

Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?)

Years of bloodshed and violence have turned Dolan into an introspective individual. Usually he will offer his insight to his fellow wanderers, or assist them with whatever trials and tribulations the road throws at them.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?)

Dolan lacks any truly meaningful connections. The road has taught him to be cautious, and this desire for security can sometimes turn hostile against any would-be allies.

Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?)

Roughly 5'8" and weighing ~180 lbs., Dolan resembles many post-war veterans. War experience forced Dolan to shave his black locks, his lack of hair making it easier to slip his head into a helmet and overall removed the need to worry about his looks. With the war over, his hair has started to grow back. His wrinkles and roughness from stresses on the battlefield may fool people into thinking he is older than he is, and his "masculine mustache" makes him feel slightly more mature than his younger peers. A mace blow to the helm caused him to lose an eye and scarred his face slightly. Overall, however, he is rather worn but with good drink and a warm bed he can freshen up significantly.

Skin: (please provide us a screenshot of your character’s skin; if you need help, see our screenshot guide here.)
