What’s the rule you agree with the most?: No derogatory remarks and such towards others in the game. I came to LotC looking for a better community than the one I was in before, and the rules here seem MUCH more structured. I do believe that the staff will take care of any behavior.
Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense? (if so we can help clear it up!): I'm a little confused about the rule prohibiting pop culture references- does this mean that I cannot have a face claim for a character, even if that character is completely different from the face claim?

What is metagaming?: Metagaming involves having information OOCly but using or acting upon it ICly. Example: If I asked my friend MCPlayer123 to help me during a fight, and he came and assisted without having known about the fight ICly, that would be considered metagaming.
What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Powergaming is ultimately winning the fight. Usually in RP, a player will make an attempt to do something: ex, "Jane attempted to grab Dom's arm as he left.", but in the case of powergaming, a player makes the move without allowing a reaction: ex, "Jane grabbed Dom's arm and hauled him back into the room."

Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore): Miilaryndae "Miila" (MEE-lah) was the child of two poets; Naeder and Vhoori Rhalyf. She lived a quiet childhood as a student and artist, often dabbling in metalwork and theatre, along with other arts. Miila lived out the majority of her childhood in the city of Ker'nor. At the age of five her friendship with Silvyr Fenmarel began to blossom. He was her best friend, and she often saw him as a brother- until the age of twenty, when she was to be married to him. Miila began to rebel against her parents' wishes, her resistance a product of a grueling and highly educational childhood. (There was scarcely time for friends and family, much less the activities she enjoyed.) Silvyr and Miila came to a mutual agreement to marry, but to remain friends instead of lovers. They never conceived a child during their twelve years of marriage.
Shortly after turning 28, Miila discovered that Silvyr had been dabbling in magic, mainly elemental evocation. She took an interest and found a master to teach her as well, wanting to achieve the same skills as her husband, but was greatly deceived by the master. Miila began learning dark magic from an unnamed man. She became a skilled Blood mage, feeding off of herself to cast spells. While he was impressed by her skills, Silvyr distanced himself from Miila as she started to lose control, using the magic to do horrid things- and injuring herself in the process. She travelled away from the city in order to practice her dark arts, and returned a few years later when she turned 32. Silvyr, in the time she was away, had found another woman and was soon to be married. Although their relationship was purely platonic, Miila was consumed with rage and envy. She ended her relationship with Silvyr and moved to Linandria, where she stopped practicing magic and lived alone, recovering from the horrors of the past years. Eventually, Miila took up alchemy, and continues it to this day. She still resides in Linandria and enjoys it, but at times her past haunts her.
Personality Traits: Miila is very wise and level-headed, one of the reasons she was able to pull herself out of the dark place she was in when using magic. However, she can often be hot-headed, especially when it comes to socialization, as she is a very aloof and reclusive woman, mainly sticking to herself. Miila has not opened herself up to the idea of a romantic relationship, and has no plan of marrying again. She has no attraction to anyone, and likes to keep it that way. She rather enjoys alchemy, but dislikes any forms of magic. One thing that Miila has decided she likes is horses. She enjoys riding them when she's able.
Ambitions: Miila's main goal is to rebuild her life, and over the past 50 years she's managed to do that very well, by moving to a new city and changing things up. She scarcely travels, and hardly has any relationship with her family. Despite living alone, Miila yearns for an apprentice and hopes to find one to accompany her in her alchemical forays.
Strengths/Talents: Besides alchemy, Miila is very good at cooking- years on her own have allowed her to perfect recipes and such. She is also very good around horses and loves them. Mentally, she has a very strong resolve and she is good at thinking her way into/out of things.
Weaknesses/Inabilities: Despite over 30 years of isolation, Miila is still lonely: she wants companions, but is untrustworthy of what they might want, who they are, etc. Her past is also a huge weakness: any mention of her family or past relationships cause her immense pain and emotional breakdowns.
Appearance: Like most Dark Elves, Miila has dark, bluish-purple skin with greenish undertones. Her face is an oval shape. Her lips are full but often appear chapped, and her nose is tapered at the end. Her eyes are a greenish blue, and her eyebrows are dark and quite full. Her hair is a dark gray- almost black- and she braids it into a crown or wears it down most of the time. It ends at her waist. She's not as tall as some others of her race, but is an average height for her age, coming in at about six feet tall. She is lean, and one might consider her gaunt. Her clothes revolve around Dark Elf culture- jewel tone colors and such. She does not wear anything too extravagant, mostly frocks and long dresses.
