Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

Wonks are frog-like creatures that wandered the Wonkawoods where they developed a simple culture and society, before a small group of them migrated away across all of Atlas and Arcas. They formed their own tribes and societies, somewhat influenced by the orcs, one of the first people they encountered outside of the Wonkawoods. Wonks cannot be male or female, however they can identify themselves with something purely for social construct. There will be a time in an adult wonk’s life when they will carry eggs. The eggs will take around 4-6 days to mature until the Wonk dispels them into any body of freshwater. Wonks that survive hatching will take 5 years to grow from a tadpole to a full wonk. Wonks can live up to 120 years, however, progressively as they age, they will be able to retain skin moisture far less. There are two branches of wonks, reformed and tribal. Reformed Wonks are heavily invested in descendant culture, engrossed with civilization and modeling much of their culture on the culture of other people. Wonks can range from being independent followers of descendants or whole groups of wonks that form a community that assimilate a plethora of descendant aspects into it. There are also two subtypes of wonks: Frog Wonks, and Toad Wonks, the former of which I am interested in playing. Frog wonks range from being 4’6” to 5’0” tall and are skinnier and lankier than toads, with smoother skin that ranges from green to brown colors.

Wonks have the ability to manipulate their tongues which can extend up to their arms. However their tongues are a very fragile part of their body. Although partially warmblooded, Wonks prefer warm and wet environments. The longer they spend outside of water, the more dry and flammable their skins will be. They can also breathe and see underwater. Wonks have lesser souls that prevent them from engaging in most magic.

Milton Farenguard comes from a family of fairly high status in Norseth’onn. He was raised decently and had a good education. He was fairly intelligent for his age and liked to experiment and tinker with inventions. However, from a very early age, Milton has a tendency to disregard the well being of others. He showed a very cruel and sadistic nature, as he would experiment on living things as well. He loved tinkering with objects and concocting potions. As he grew older, he became more and more unpredictable and drifted further away from his family and the rest of society. A few public disturbances, arson reports, drug deals and suspected murders have caused him to be shunned by his family and exiled from the Dominion of Malin. He left and is now looking for refuge in the other nations of Axios.

Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) Milton is a very intelligent person and can be very calm in troubling situations. However, he has a sadistic nature and is very unpredictable. He can show symptoms of insanity much like elder elves, despite being quite young as an additional “curse”. He is a very aloof person and generally dislikes people who try to poke him too much. Milton loves experimenting with things, sometimes even the playing with the lives or emotions of others.

Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) He might want to set up an alchemy workstation soon. Aspires to be one of the smartest people in the world. He also aims to study the curses of the various races.

Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) He is very proficient at building/brewing things and analyzing situations. He is also adept with typical elven tools such as a bow.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) Socializing and physical combat.
