Upon reflection of the recent accusations of rampant hedonism, sodomy, and fraternization with dark mages within the Holy Hearth levied against our very own High Keeper Alisa Camian, I, Purifier Keeper Jairiven Willow call for a vote amongst keepers as to perceive whether we truly wish for such debauchery to continue within the light of the All-Father’s realm. To purposely and knowingly follow in the blatant corruption of our own High Keeper would be a stain upon our honor and history as Fatherists and Highlanders.

I also call for Keeper Jager Faretto and Orlanth Stormbringer to stand trial in the All-Father’s light for their involvement in the death of Crypt Keeper Alifer Amice due to the suspicious circumstances. The murder of one who has served loyally and nobly to the Faith and Father shouldnae be taken so lightly. It truly is almost impossible to believe two hardened veterans of the Highland Realm would have difficulty subduing a man of such intense age.

In these difficult times I can only pray that the All-Father guides us back towards his light, so that we may stamp out the corruption that festers within our realm.

    Signed,

Purifier Keeper Jairiven Willow, Champion of the Highlands, Chieftain of the Willows

The First Act of the Brotherhood of the Flame

15th of The First Seed, 1754

The Brotherhood of the Flame: Order of Beowulf launched a daring strike deep into the Heart of Curon. Twenty Hearth Brothers lead by the Ash-Bringer himself, Jairiven Willow and the Master-of-Arms, Levian Tol. Late into the night the brave Brothers of the All Father crept into the city as the citizens slept, moving quietly into the Church of the Crossed god. With ease they covered the floors, walls, and pews in alcohol and set it ablaze. As the flames took hold of the church the Brothers crossed into the Bank of Curon, blanketing the chests with more kindling and alcohol and setting that too ablaze. There they said a prayer to the All Father and split up into the alleyways, disappearing in the night.. The smoke rising from Curon could be seen throughout the Highlands signalling the All Father’s praise for The Brotherhood.

The Brotherhood of The Flame has formally introduced themselves to Arcas.

As the sun sets on a terrible day for the Holy Hearth, the members of the Brotherhood gather round for the first Moot of AshBringer. As debates become stilled and votes begin to tally, there seems only one clear choice. After the Sun darkens and the cool winter breeze blows through the night, the brave men and women of the Red Faith stand in silence, awaiting their new leader to be called. Jairiven Willow, and his paragon Beowul av Avard have been elected to AshBringer. A New Order begins for the red faith.

    Introduction:

The Brotherhood of the Flame is a company of people who value the word and teachings of the All Father over all. The Brotherhood holds no allegiances but to the Holy Hearth. The Order members see themselves as true sons and daughters of the All Father, and defenders of the Faith. The ultimate goals of the Brotherhood are dependent upon the paragons of past, and the AshBringer of present, as well as to stay true to the Tenets of our faith.

Upon enlisting in the Order, one is given the Paragon Codex, a uniform, a weapon, and a shield. Soon after enlisting, the Neophyte is to be put to the test and if they succeed this initiation, they will become a fully fledged member of the Brotherhood.

    Tenets:

    – Defining the Unworthy.

     – Spreading the Flame.

     – Stand against the Long Dark.

    Ranking Structure:

    - AshBringer -

The AshBringer is elected via a moot. Their word is final in instances of discipline. Their paragon becomes the basis on which the order defines themselves and their goals. For example: If ones paragon were Myr “The Wordsmith”, then the order may focus on recording and collecting the histories of the red faith. If ones paragon were Ed av Avard “The Terrible”, then the order may focus on aggressive actions towards their enemies.

    - Veteran -

A Veteran of the Brotherhood is one who has seen battle, proven themselves loyal to the faith and has the privilege of being elected AshBringer may they be voted in a moot.

    - Hearth Seeker -

Those who hold the rank of Hearth Seeker are battle ready and doing the work of the All Father by spreading the flame. They are the keepers of the Hearth and hold closely to the Tenets of their faith. You must have a flame brand to become a Hearth Seeker.

    - Hearth-Brother / Sister -

A Hearth-Brother / Sister is one who has proven themselves worthy to the Brotherhood and to the Faith. Though lacking experience, they will be taught and trained by the Hearth Seekers and Veterans of the order. Over time they may prove themselves worthy of serving the All Father more closely.

    - Neophyte -

Neophyte’s are brand new initiates to the Brotherhood and have yet to prove themselves. They have much to learn about the Faith and Cannot vote in electing a new AshBringer

    Moots for AshBringer:

All members of the Order, Hearth-Brother / Sister and over will be able to vote for the new AshBringer upon Death of the Old AshBringer. Only veterans of the Brotherhood will be able to be elected as AshBringer. Should there ever be a tie, the elected may duel for the honor of AshBringer, so that the All Father may decide who shall lead. Upon Election, the AshBringer’s Paragon will become the new holy symbol for the Order, and the goals of the Brotherhood will shift towards the teachings of said Paragon. If there be no Veterans left to be voted as AshBringer, then any that deem themselves worthy may step up for election.

  9. “Wit’out Tradition, weh lose our way o’ve life. If t’e all father truly guides us all, t’en Ah’m sure High Keeper Solvi will beh truly victorious in t’is battle. Iron from Ice, No Compromise.” Jairiven willow speaks to his fellow Brothers of the faith.
