Think about the characters on the server right now, many of them are supposed intellectuals but are played by players who are subpar in comparison to said character, then put them in a spot where they are expected to act such and you'll see a very awkward interaction, this is similiar to making them be a singular trope.

About the flesh eating part, I personally see them hard to live in society specially if he's not an orc or within a culture that allows cannibalism or things alike and specially be looked after. Say, since they have a weak mental state, what if they go hungry by their guardian after some sort of unplanned fasting?

 

Also, don't worry about being off. The server has a lot of much stronger creatures that felt in innactivity. But do you feel like this creature would fall in innactivity?

 

I wouldn't doubt the server has atleast a hundred of creatures you can play and you can find very few unless you look hard enough. Let alone the golem playerbase, 53 people made a creature application for it and they're hugely innactive or don't play their golems without their master since it's a side-character; you rely on other people and you're not capable of exactly being autonomous, you can't learn magic or do anything that great, but you're a strong but slow moving rock. Seeing people enjoy going around by being a golem and interacting with people is as hard as finding a dark mage that doesn't do slice of life RP.

 

Do you see this lore being successful with the playerbase? Do you find worth pursuing it? How do you see people interacting with them and making applications in two weeks if it gets accepted? Do you believe that people will be able to correctly play the weak mental state?

These are pretty much stronger, faster and more intelligent humans that glow when they're happy and stop glowing when they're sad that eat meat to be able to survive and their taste buds don't like other meats. This doesn't adds anything unique to the server but empowerment, prove me otherwise.

 

Also, instead of using chemistry to explain, just use the word "magic", its the standard for LotC to replace science and everything, this is why we're on a techlock but magi-tech exists.

If I may make a suggestion I feel that this creature may be a bit more difficult to play or attract players due to the fact that the creatures are a bit anti-social. Example of that being finding them in their habitat or that they will leave for others of their kind. Perhaps making them a bit more social will help bring more of an attraction to this creature and make them easier to play. That being said I do really like where you went with the lore and the idea of emotions because at the end of the day that is how we portray a character is through their emotions!

 

Don't get discouraged by negative feedback, rather use that information to further this creature to the best of your ability. This was an incredibly fun read. C:

Not sure why you hate this Creature soo much.. but I could tell u dont like people playing a snowflake character.

And also , I didn't get what you mean by " character with little to no substance" . Mind if you explain it more in detail so I could satisfy you ?

Being harsh isn't the fastest way to throw this Lore in to the bin.

Why do these kind of people even exist ? only capable of talking bs to others without them knowing why ur so mad of .

I find it curious ... how were u able to work with the Lore Team ? Giving a bad image of the server to the new comers seems legit.

Theres many way that Lampyanthrophus can spice up the server. Like their

"light-producing" enzyme from their organs are able to let object glows passively when one knows how to put this glowing enzyme into it.  The item/ object will glow brightly when the amount oxygen in the surroundings increases. These enzymes are able emit  90% of light energy and 10% as the presence of heat, therefore creating a "cold-light" substance for uses .. maybe like a glowing ring that can't be extinguished. 

Harvesting these "light-producing" enzyme from Chamaeleontes Lampyanthrophus will able to let the item / object  glow in many colours base on its surroundings.

Priaeventores Lampyanthrophus' blood contains high amount of Defensive Steroids to aid themselves when needed. Just imagine you somehow able to get their blood and consume it. Well just to say that , ur wounds will start healing in a faster phase without any scars and limbs that you lost will start regrowing.

And in addition, the old cell that you contain will be replace by a newer cell, this will make you look more younger. The more you consume it , the more beneficial the effects will be... however .. steroids are addictive... soo .. you know what happened...

Adding one more part >

Lampyanthrophus are able to recover wounds fast in a way where the broken blood vessels in their wound will be patched up in just a minute ( Priaeventores Lampyanthrophus can patched it up in just half a minute ) . Therefore , its hard to obtain their blood.. unless you are able to poison them , making them to vomit blood out .Or collect their amputated limbs, cutting a hole constantly to obtain their blood ( contain less Defensive Steroids as it has been constantly patching the hole you made )

These are some examples of t being able to spice up the server. I dont get what you mean by unable to see how it could spice up the server... Theres like tons , waiting for you people to create c;

I dont get it ,

if the creature is all over crowded , in the case where we can't create a new creature into server, which might have a chance to spice up the server again. Whats the point of keeping those creautres that's inactive which no one play it . I mean , the Creatures that I see mostly is Morghuul , Bryophite (rarely)... How about the others?  Creatures  you mentioned ? 

Staffs should really do things about this 

maybe like temporary remove those creature in a lore where how these creature go extinct / unseen ...

if theres player wanted to play those creature again , make a lore on how the creature exist again .

Lampyanthrophus

Introduction 

Lampyanthrophus are known as light-producing people, able to glow by themselves passively from their luminescent organs. However, all of them tend to be considered as  a “psychopath” ,  unable to control their emotions or preserving their emotional autonomy. Their emotional and psychological trauma were caused by a one time events such as loosing something/someone dearest to them in which cause them to suffer a permanent mood disorders.

Sometimes they are sad , other times they are happy. They might even be sad and happy in the same time frame . But sometimes their mood can get “ stuck “. Or their moods might change a lot or become extreme.  

Origins 

Some say that our body is like a shell, meant to protect our soul , preventing it from being expose, responsible for being a mask that shadows our emotions. However, a pain lurks to crack open this shell,  expose us to the deepest and truest parts of our being. This “creature” released, is what has created the Lampyanthrophus. As this being said, these beings have suffered this pain severely , being unable to hide themselves under the shelter we all know , the shell. Like all seashells , this shell has a story of its own to tell.

Behavior towards themselves / society & their roles 

Lampyanthrophus hardly ask for help as they would think it’s rather pointless nor hopeless to be helped even if their weak to do so. They could somehow be jealous at a particular thing and might even start  stalking them. When things have gone to the worst on them , they would abuse themselves as ways of anaesthetising their feelings , dampening their anxiety , or drowning their sorrows...

Lampyanthrophus are suffering  from severe fear , anxiety , or depressions. Experiencing terrifying memories , nightmares and flashbacks. Which leads them to avoid more things thing that remind them of the trauma and even become emotionally numb and disconnected from others closest to them ( temporarily )..

Lampyanthrophus carry a positive facial expressions when their in a health mental state , able to be super supportive yet productive towards to the people close to them, optimistic in the point where they look at the brightest things even if darkness have taken over ,caring in which if they were soul bounded. But, things go differently when they are in a poor mental state , they would even start to harm the others or worst, killing them as if they were stuck in their misery again , trying to save themselves from it.

Habitat 
Lampyanthrophus can be found in places like villages , crowd-free streets and encampment . They tend to have that area as their own personal space , being very "defensive" against invaders . When they are spotted by an intruder, they would quickly hide themselves as if they are being haunted , fearing that those misfortunes which they had went through might happen on them again. Some would comfort the traumatised ,whom feared and took shelter, while other try to work together to scare these invaders away. The male Lampyanthrophus are the most common to scare the invader , for they have the most aggressiveness. Due to their misfortune , some would live alone,  individually, being lost.

However , some will unite with not only their own kind, but also people that are close to them to form a group, having their own personal quest to achieve  !

Appearence / Biology 

Lampyanthrophus stand at around 5’4- 6 feet tall wether if they are male or female. They tend carry a weak physical outlooks , not so buffy kind nor skinny. Their face still remains as their previous ones. The way how they dress themselves are very simple , often those broken-stitched up clothes. They are not really into fashion kinds.. 
 Lampyanthrophus are being look after by their dearest ones, giving a loving energy to them who has been suffering critically from their lost , bringing a measure of comfort to them to continue living and accept their faith. A bind between a living and a departed soul. 

At some point , they would start to grow horns on their head
Their eyes are able to reveal their emotional state. In fact , it provide lots of information about it and can easily be read by other people when gazing into their eyes. Their eye’ lens are however based on their character , the way how they act towards people. Like an example , having  tigers’ lens shows that they are brave, fierce , daring and aggresive .

Diets 

Lampyanthrophus diet mostly on any kind of meat , including flesh. Eating others will taste awful for them. They get hungry very often, depend on how much they regenerated from wounds , limbs or passively from cell replacements. They are able to withstand hunger for a week and have an appetite of eating a whole cow by themselves ( individual ). Due to these , they would in fact lead a raid inside a city, stealing animals or foods from the citizen.
 
 Fleshes are important for them to consume. It helps them on procreating more stable defensive steroids’ base which can last longer for aid.

Meats just help them to fill up their hungry tummy c;

Capabilities 

Lampyanthrophus can gain trust easily from their own kind, whom like themselves are lost. As they had went through the same pain as before. Because of this, they form a strong bond together.In order to maintain a healthy mental state, they share their experiences and negative emotions they encountered with others of their kind.

Lampyantrophus have a habit of forcing or stressing themselves, trying to be the best at everything. This leads them to move forward quicker than most.

Lampyanthrophus are able to utilize everything that is around them, not wasting a single drop of it, creating brilliant thoughts of strategizing themselves to overpower those who threaten them.

Everyone of them are weak in a particular emotions in which they can’t handle. However their bodies are able to modify themselves to adapt in these kind of situations. This leads them to categorise themselves based on their perks from their body modification. 

Chamaeleontes
When a Lampyanthrophus suffers greatly on emotions that involve with Fear , they tend to emit different solid light colours base on their surroundings. This helps them to hide themselves easily, for they camouflage onto their surroundings, blending themselves in.

Priaeventores
When a Lampyanthrophus suffers greatly on emotions that involve with Anger, their brain are releases a great number of defensive steroids to their body to aid themselves, regrowing limbs in a faster phase. Their muscle of motions will start to contract to strengthen them while in that aiding state, capable of releasing a powerful blow onto their foes. 

Summing all up 

Pros

+ Agile and sneaky 
+ Able to cooperate with their own kind easily
+ Able to regrow limbs  ( in a slower phase , like 1 irl week )
+ Recover fast  ( on smaller wounds , not severe )
+ Strong in away ( under domination emotions )
+ Having unique perks ( only in role-play )
+ Fast learners  

+ Mobile oil lamp ( who needs to bring an oil lamp with em in the dark when u have a lampy c; )  my puns are horrible ;-;

Cons

- Mentally weak ( their surroundings may even effect their metal state , places that has more in nature surroundings help in having a healthy mental state ) 
- Physically weak ( unable to carry heavy objects nor wear heavy-plate armours )
- Exhaust very easily 
- Weak magic release
- Ingorent  ( its hard for them to learn from their mistakes)

- Highly flammable  ( fire are able to reduce the speed of their aiding state )

Not sure if u guys are telling the truth ..  but for me , he's a great person and capable of being an event actor . He may be an ass and treated badly to u guys before , but hey ... he had changed and have turn over a new leaf. I dont think he's an ignorant person now towards his own act and behaviour. 

I mean the past is a past ,its unchangeable. He isn't like before , as childish as he could be... you guys should really know how matured he is now and not judge by his past act.

What is Roleplaying?: Players which have a role of their own characters in a fictional settings. Like an example, if my role is a farmer. I have to take full responsibility for acting out just like being a farmer , raising crops to market consumption and working with animals such as milking.

What is Metagaming?: its basically the player is aware of this situation base of knowledge , but their character is not aware of . Like an example, my character had met a monster first time and I know how to fight against the monster , but my character don't and its like it is his/her first time experiencing it.

What is Power-emoting (Powergaming)?: emoting on a player and it doesn't give them a chance to response to it. Example , Player A had killed Player B and Player B can't response to it.

Biography:

Res was born as the only daughter in the family at the Duchy of Savinia, which later became the Kingdom of Santegia. Res's mother died of severe illness after giving birth to her only child ,who she can call it as her daughter and also as a gift for her husband before felling into a deep sleep. There , Res lost her chance to know how beautiful her mother voice was. It saddened Res's father but their life still continued on. Res had an ordinary life with her father just like the others , not the wealthiest of all but the opposite , having a farm , which their lives depend on it. 

Their tragedy began when the Santegian Rebellion invade their kingdom, the small little farm which belongs to Res and her father was forced to be part of the war on Santegia's side against the Principality of Evreux and the Orenian Empire. As thing went on , their farm was raided many times , crops taken by the soldiers from the enemy side , leaving Res and her father to starve for days. 

After their misery had past , soldiers started marching to their farm and were about to raid their farm again , Res's father got sick of it and ran outside to convince them. The soldiers ignored the poor farmer and without any mercy on him, they pierced him blades after blades. Res knew something wasn't right and went outside , able to see her beloved father lying dead on the ground with bloods cover all over him. Realising at her age that this place wasn't safe. She then ran away from home.

Res had gone to many different kingdoms and cities , Her primary duty was to steal small things to keep her alive. Several years had past and she visited the capital of the Orenian Empire, Adelburg. Res did what she usually do, stealing all sorts of stuff that had some value and was never got caught. She then decided to travel again but this time , she came across a small camp of some soldiers. It was deep at the night and she started doing what she were good at. She sneaked into the camp and attempted to steal some wares while the soldiers were asleep , as Res acquired a nice valuable looking sword, she was caught by one of the guard there who just aroused from his sleep. Eventhought Res was just a woman, the guard tackled her with force, binding her hands together and tied her to a tree. The men appeared to be mercenaries and they had no shame for her being a woman. They played around with her , pulling her hair and hurt her.

Ambitions: to become the greatest swordswomen 

Strengths/Talents: intelligent , brave , courageous , observant , sneaky and able to strategise a fight to her max potential by using her surroundings 

Weaknesses/Inabilities: She was born blind ( Her mother dying breath was to cast a spell to cure her blindness ), Weak , Feared of death , Bad at talking in a way where she couldn't council anyone , able to be blind again temporary when she got any contact with water.
