Morĭ Daẽr Vãnda or Morĭ Daẽr, was born in Ker’nor the year 1373. He was born into a blacksmithing family, helping in whatever way he could, whether it be Grinding and sharpening blades or Polishing Armour, he loved it. When he turned 16 his father took him to an academy to learn swordsmanship and swordplay, this is where Morĭ spent most of his time for the next 10 years, by the age of 19 he starts training in the art of Dual wielding of broadswords. 2 years into practicing Dual wielding, his father gifts him with two broadswords, custom fit for Morĭ’s muscle build.
After training for seven years in dual wielding he takes lessons and practice in Martial Arts this training takes place over several years. In the lessons he would learn to Dodge, counter and pin opponents in a fight without the use of a weapon. He completes his Martial Arts training at the age of 35. With the skills of both Martial Arts and Dual Wielding, he trains to use the swords with his martial arts in a combined skill. To train for this he would have multiple opponents attack him at once, he would have to try and dodge or parry the attacks whilst trying to immobilize the opponents. He took 17 years to perfect this technique.
At the age of 55 he starts to train in Blacksmithing with the help of his father, he is taught how to temper and forge blades, he was taught how to bend plates of metal to forge armour and how to shape and bend blades. By the time he is 67, he can make a chestplate of Commoner quality and a sword of Guard quality, and is still training with his father. At the age of 83 he is finally able to make Guardsman quality armour and Master crafted blades, he continues in his father's training for the next 20 years.
When he reached the age of 230 he has heard of a growing trade city, of the name of Sutica. He traveled to the city in search of a job in blacksmithing, he found a job and started forging for the guard and whoever could afford it. He had been there for 14 years before heading back to his home. When he got back he asked for his father, he was then told that his father had died 2 years before he had returned. Mori was distraught as his father was the closest person to him. He stays with his mother and sister for 18 years before leaving and traveling looking for new experiences.
Personality Traits:
Morĭ tends to keep to himself , when asked questions he will try to keep the speaking at a minimum. He practices in swordsmanship as a self-defence method though he uses it when selling swords to make it look very easy to use.
Ambitions:
Morĭ aspires to be a great blacksmith , he has grown up in a blacksmithing family with ancestors being great blacksmiths and parents being blacksmiths he has grown attached to the art of forging blades and armour.
Strengths/Talents:
Blacksmithing -Ever since a young age Morĭ has been fascinated with the idea of Blacksmithing, when he was young he would help his father in the forge sharpening blades or polishing armour. When he was 36 he started Forging armour and weapons with his father.
Dual wielding of Broadswords - Morĭ has been training from the age of 19 to dual wield broad swords (Scottish Broadsword). The broadsword is lighter than a long sword but longer and stronger than a dagger. The swords are custom made by his father, the blade is 43cm(17in), with a steel guard and pommel weighing a total .54 kilos(1.2lb) each. The swords are fit to match his less muscular build.
The use of Martial Arts - Morĭ like other dark elves was taught the use of martial arts at a young age. Mori was taught how to dodge, counter-attack, pin an opponent and move quite stealthily when out of armour. This in hand with his use of Dual Wielding making him a formidable opponent.
Weaknesses/Inabilities:
Lack of remorse -Morĭ is unlike other dark elves in having no remorse when doing something others would find “Shameful” this has him looked down upon by others including some of his family.
Deceitfulness -Morĭ tends to lie out of habit to people, even close friends of his he lies to out of pure habit causing him to have close to or no friends at certain points in time.
Reckless (to a point) - Morĭ is hot headed, tending to take actions without thinking of course not everything will cause this to trigger, if he knows his opponent will kill him if they got into a fight he will try to stay cool though not always keeping it.
Archery -Morĭ never got into archery, he was never a fan of it. This being said he can not use a bow, he has never learnt to use one and doesn’t plan on learning how to use one any time soon.
