Hello! I’m a (kind of?) returning player. I joined a while back and sort of lurked and watched from afar. But I’m back a few years later with a friend! I really want to /actually/ get into the server instead of coming on to farm and run around with nothing to do. My friend and I are looking to get into a community to rp with. While I’m experienced, my friend is fairly new to rping. We plan to play human alchemists (if that’s even possible because the wiki page is...just yikes) if that helps narrow down anything. We’re just looking to do some relativity non-combat rp and chill. So any help finding a place to do that would be greatly appreciated!

What is Roleplaying?: Roleplaying is when you take on a character that isn't yourself. You are usually in a different setting, interacting with other characters in creatures, as well as going through situations you'd most likely never come across in real life. 

What is Metagaming?: Metagaming is when you take knowledge you've learned from outside a roleplay and using it in game. (ex. Bob heard about Sally guild plan to attack the king of the land through a friend who was in Sally guild in an out of character chat. Bob then warns the king in game that he is going to be attacked even though Bob's character had no knowledge of the attack in game.)

What is Power-emoting (Powergaming)?: Powergaming is doing something that a character wouldn't actually be able to do. Usually an impossible feet or not letting a character react properly. (ex. Sarah a mage who has just started her training uses a powerful spell that only a grand mage could have mastered and using it to kill an army in a single shot.)

Biography: Hazel was born in 1550 in Tar'sil near the end of the war in the Isle of Vailor. Hazel grew up with her mother Nerisa, her father Tavim  and one her older brother Kravas. She started training a little later than most at age twenty. She often spared with her brother, but would often get lost in thought. She never really liked the hard training she went through, nor was she good at it. She always was thinking what was outside the thick walls that guarded the Citadel of Acael. She remembered hearing stories from her grandmother about the festivals they once threw, but could never quite image it, which made her crave to see the outside world. Though her parents and brother were pressuring her to continue with the training, she stopped after only two years to explore other interests. Though she still spared with her brother to help him train, she knew she'd never be happy there. She explored many jobs once she left the military. She threw herself into studying, which was a drastic shift and her parents were rather shocked by her sudden thirst for knowledge. Though it didn't last long, only studying for five months as she soon grew tired of studying over dusty old books and searching for answers to questions she knew would most likely never be solved. She decided to take some time to take up different hobbies and look at other professions. She explored many careers before at age fifty five finding her passion, which was baking. After working from home, and starting her own makeshift bakery she was content with her life for a short period. Though after twenty years of contently living, baking pastries and sweets for her city, a tragedy struck close to home. Her brother had been heavily injured in a battle that had broken out on a scouting mission. She realized when talking to her brother how much he had wish he'd gotten to do and see. After that talk her urge to explore came back even stronger than before. She ignored it for five years before at age eighty she set out on her own to explore, and hopefully meet other races and interact with them for the first time. 

Personality Traits: Hazel is very outgoing and friendly due to her wanting to meet and interact with other races. She's also very compassionate and welcoming to others. She sometimes says and does things without thinking, and holds grudges rather easily. She's very transparent too, finding it very hard to hide her real feelings. Hazel loves cooking and learning about others cultures. Though she dislikes being outcased, as well as others being looked down upon for things they cannot control.

Ambitions: She hopes to learn more from other races, and hopefully learn recipes from other cultures to bake and sell.

Strengths/Talents: Hazel is very good at socializing/sweet talking as well as baking.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: She's not very good at combat in any form. She's okay with a sword, but defeintly wouldn't be hard to beat in a battle.

Appearance:

Hazel stands 5'8 ft and weighs around 128lbs. She has ice long, back length blonde hair. She wears a circlet with a azure coloured gem. She has fairly softly features, a heart shaped face with almond shaped eyes that are ice blue. She ears are two and a half inches long and are pierced with sapphire gemstones. On her back she has a tattoo murial of a warrior walking home from a long battle. She wears a blue and white dress with puffy white sleeves and black flats.
