Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

Ghouls are the most basic of undead troops a necromancer can bring back by ushering the soul of the one killed back into a decaying body to enact the will of the necromancer who brought them back from the death.

Things to keep a note of is the ghouls notable weakness to Aurum that will cause immense pain when struck by it, aswell as blunt force aimed against the skull, causing the ghoul to become lifeless, crumbling into a pile of bones. The form of a ghoul is composed of decomposing flesh, muscle, tendons and bone, and if the muscles or tendons are cut or slashed, it would render the limb unusable (4 Hits) while blunt force could destroy the bones completely, removing limbs in (1 hit). While still unaffected by the livings need for breathing, eating or sleep while being unaffected by poisons or disease.

The Curse that brought the ghoul back to life causes one to lack the humanity or any resemblance of it leaving behind a bitter hatred or envy in some cases. Bound to the will of its creator a Ghoul is like a loyal follower.. a pet, while not being mindless they can harbor resentment or hatred towards the necromancer that brought them back, they are however unable to act on these thoughts.

Ghouls are still able to think, communicate and have wants. They resonate with feelings tied to their past lives, particularly to those associated with activities or skills they once enjoyed. 

If a ghoul were to meet its end once more they can be revived by a T4 necromancer with the Rite of Return.

If this construct or creature has some form of aesthetic choice, can you describe how they look? 

The decaying body of the man is clad in plate armor with bandaging covering the gaps to offer what little protection could be given to the decaying body underneath. The Once man was always wishing for a grand fight, even in death this holds true seeing in what kind of shape his armor is in. The Insignia of a snake is seen upon his cloth and armor. If one were to peer inside the helmet they would be met with snake like slitted eyes. with bits of scale where uncovered decaying skin could be seen.

Dimensions: 2 wide and 1 high.

This change in greater mutations not being able to be used by normal descendants could have been written down as some herbs changing in Aevos thus, it becoming impossible for the body of a descendant to survive being given a greater mutation. This way people who already had them, wouldn't lose what they already had. Just an idea.
