Gwynleyn looks upon the notice with a wrinkled nose, unsure of what to think, "I'm unsure this will help anything at all, I'd rather be paying taxes... I wonder who made this..."

"Ah can nae believe et! Foolish dwed without an ounce o' respect!! They deserve teh be bloodied an' cold before turnin' teh stone 'emselves! An Oi'd do a good job o' breakin' tehm teh pieces an all!" Fraye roars with rage, her ranting continuing as the bees in her abode sit by and seemingly listen.

Fraye walks past this missive with a few bees in tow, until she double takes to take a closer look, "Usin' mi brother's name teh insult mi own son?! What a disgrace this es turnin' out teh be!" She rips the missive down, likely to show her husband while she rants away about the 'absurdity' of this situation.

Fraye huffs taking down one of the notices to read "Aye! As et should be, ye can't be raisin' a hand so easileh teh ye kin." She grumbles some, clearly insulted by the implication that her own flesh and blood wasn't a dwed, "Ah can't believe this, outrageous, dwed should nae be actin' like this. So childesh."

Gwynleyn is awoken from a peaceful slumber amongst the tall grass of the grotto by the screech of her sister's bird and the deliverance of its message. Upon reading the contents of flier she smiles softly laying back in the grass, "And she takes her stance in this matter...."

So I am no scientist, I am not an expert but I do have a fondness for biology and if I am wrong then please correct me.
But what I would like to say is if two different species breed together often a mutation is caused as the species aren’t exactly compatible in a sense. So it is completely possible that due to the snow elf and dwarf having a child it caused a mutation which just so happened to be blue hair, a mutation is a permanent alteration of a gene –in this case it is the gene that controls hair colour- so it’s highly likely this gene can be passed down (especially if dominant) through the generations to come therefore leading the clan and it’s members to be famous for blue hair. If you would like to argue and claim that nothing naturally has blue hair well look at the cat species ‘Russian blue’ they have dark blue hair, it can be found in rabbits, frogs and the list goes on so blue pigment is not uncommon in the natural world.
Not everything has to do with lore and the history of the race because races and new species (in this case half species) evolve and like I have mentioned mutate over time.
Okie thank you for reading this.

Fraye sighs softly, giving her husband a comforting pat on the shoulder, "Aye, let's 'ope they've learned a' lesson or two..."
