    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is when you use information that you obtained out of character to benefit yourself when IN character, that you could've never obtained in character. I used to play Arma 3, and there was a kidnapping mechanic in Altis Life. Let's say that I wa kidnapped, blindfolded and was told that my means of communication were being taken before I could call for help. Metagaming would be going onto Discord and alerting my friends *anyways* that I was kidnapped and telling them where I was so they could intervene. It breaks roleplay rules by doing what should be impossible.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is when someone takes it upon themselves to determine the outcome of (what should be) a mutual interaction. Such as if I were to decide to go into emote combat and tell the person that every action they took against me somehow "did not work" or that I was "immune" to everything they did. It ruins the interaction and everyone's roleplay experience overall
