You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

*Kalim would approach with caution as he was scanning his surroundings as he usually would, allowing him to have a grasp of his situation and surroundings. With some hesitation he would slowly get closer to the old hag however he would not take a seat* "hm? my story? How the hell do you know who I am!"
*After some more conversation Kalim would then unveil his backstory*
Kalim grew up in a small village outside the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska where there wasn't much to go around however him and his family got by on what they could as there father was a local miner which was seen to be a noble profession at the time however the kingdoms tax rates were very high and left the family not much money to support a family of 4.This is what made kalim look up to his father, he was so admirable from his actions working a tough job and providing to his family which is something he hope he could one day hope to be. His mother had to stay at home with him and his sister to make sure they were taken care of. His sister was his best friend and was a year older than him and they done everything together. Although they weren't wealthy they were happy or so they thought.. There was one morning just like every other morning with the sun glistening and the wind blowing through the grass where kalim came home from playing with his sister and found there mother still and lifeless on the floor. She had died of unknown causes which cause much strife in the family as it left kalim and his sister inconsolable and heartbroken. But much to there surprise their father stayed strong for them and still tried to provide for the family.. unkowing to the children there father had recently lost there job and they were going to become homeless as the kingdom where going to evict them from their small village. Just like the day his mother passed it was a beautiful morning and Kalim woke up early, everyone in the house was asleep so kalim took it upon himself to go on an adventure through the city and he loved to see the busy cobbles and markets. After a action packed day he returned home however by the time he was returning the sun was no more and the dark rain clouds covered the sky, he ran home as fast as he could and when he opened the door, he saw the most ungodly sight which he couldn't even fathom. He walked into his home and witnessing his father standing over his sisters bloodied body with a blade with blood dripping from it in his hands. He had no words, tears flooded his eyes, but his eyes were empty there was no words which could describe the feelings he had just inherited. His father shouted "You don't understand what you need to do to survive this cruel world, I had no other choice! I could only make so much on your Mothers Body and i needed to get by" His father the one he looked up to so much was nothing but a cowards and pathetic man. Kalim Just ran, he kept running as fast as he could without any thought of where he was going, he just knew he had to survive... This is the day kalim realised the only person you could rely on was yourself and what lead him down the path of an mercenary.
