    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: To me, metagaming is when you use, in game, details or informations you found as an human in real life.

    Simple example would be knowing how to behave in front of a specific race from which people awaits a specific behavour while i'm actually a peasant that have only know about handling a hoe and all of this in order to get extra-bonus thing or informations.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is like believing you are Kratos while playing the Sims. Powergaming can also be as simple as telling another character you defeated a draogn with bare hands. Powergaming is the fact that you believe being a god or simply the best at something of all time.

At first, Carl does not even perceive the well-dressed gentleman. Journey was long and he did not sit on a great seat. He first has to stretch and yawn before even considering answering him.

"Mmhm ?.." he begins. "Well... I came here to simply discover this country... I'm from Hefrumm and didn't really had the time yet to travel." 

 

He stops talking for two or three seconds, he saw an interesting stall.

 

"What is that, there ?" He's asking. "Fabric ? My mother is a tailor. I sure find something interessant for her, right ? I hope it's originating from here."

 

He steps off the boat and dresses correctly.

 

"May be you could lead me throughout the market ? It seems very impressive."

 

Waiting for his answer, Carl wonders if he's gonna find the love of his life here.

Physical Description: Shining copper colored hair but bold. Medium sized for a dwarf. A bit more tanned than the other dwarves due to his work. Deep blue eyes.
