    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is projecting your knowledge of something that your character couldn't possibly know onto your character. For example, if my friend were to tell me in messages that someone had told them IC'ly that they were coming to attack my character, and my character acted based off the OOC knowledge they had given me, that would be metagaming.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is being unreasonably strong when performing actions, such as being immune to attacks with no good reason, instantly mortally wounding another player without necessary lead-up or the permission of said player, or suddenly having unbeatable martial prowess when you were a civilian who had no combat experience moments prior.
