    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Gaining information out of character to use for the ingame character without this info being accessible to the ingame-character.
    Example: I read about how waterwheels work in real life and now, my character that has no carpentry knowledge what so ever and has no accessible source of gaining such knowledge suddenly knows how to make the perfect waterwheel.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Forcing an action upon another player by ending a sequence of events without giving opportunity to change the outcome.
    Example: Zhylana uses her charisma to gain a 90% reduction of price from Mantveer
