You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"Oh, I just, uh…" you stutter, tensing up. You eye the crone, then back outside the tent. For a moment, the air thickens with anticipation, until you take a deep breath and the you seem to relax, feeling the air around you, the ground beneath your feet and the warmth of your energy encircles you."My name is Caelaras" You say softly but one might hear the pride and sturdiness of your voice as the words left your mouth ever so gracefully. You reach inside your satchel and pull out an ornate book, decorated, even from the spine, in golden elvish characters... it is your families history. "Lets start from the very beginning? Shall we?" Your eyebrow raised as you walked closer to the woman, a charming grin and a captivating look on your face that longed for a chance to tell your story.

*He has no siblings, Caelaras is an only child. He changed his name formally using “Elborn” as his last name when he was 21 as a way to separate himself from his families title. He prefers to go by Elborn as his last name.*

The Cylhadras family isn’t royalty nor was the originator of the line born from any nobility, however each generation worked tirelessly to build a family enterprise and generational wealth that exceeded and brought them to their current wealth status and poise they have today. The family is well known for their business dealings and dalliance with nobility and Elven royalty throughout the centuries.  Their enterprise business has stretched from trading spices, art, fashions, wine and even fine jewelry. The family, in earlier times, was even responsible for building up most estates, palaces and cities for elven nobility and many of the Elven Royal Families.

{Positive}

Caelaras has a unique and uplifting personality, he radiates a positive, warm and soft exterior and a contrasted fiery interior that drives him to accomplish whatever he wants. He is disciplined and very mature for his age and always displays the utmost levels of respect and kindness towards every creature he encounters. He’s not exactly as “reserved” as the rest of his family or his kin and is seen as a bit strange for being as such but his charm compensates. He is passionate about music, art, fashion and the exploration and learning of other cultures and ideas. Because of his love of leaning, he is extremely compassionate towards others and has always tried his best to not use his families money or influence to navigate hardship. He would much rather rely on his intellect, willpower and smarts to move forward.

He tends to have a “hero” complex which in most cases is good however he is sometimes blind to his detachment from others in order to make certain sacrifices. Because he is passionate and fixated on “fixing” others and helping he tends to come off as “controlling” and being avoidant of addressing any emotion at the risk of anything interfering with his hard work. He also has some deep rooted anxiety around his families financial status and while he prefers to live a lavish lifestyle, he struggles with attaching himself to his families money and what that truly means.

Fashion/Attire

He is typically wearing toned down colors, preferably staying in whites, off-whites, grey’s and light greens's with gold jewelry accents {rings, drop earrings and necklaces with jade, emerald}. He also has a headpiece that he always wears, attached from behind his left ear in the form of a leaf crown, it extends just above his forehead at an angled direction with his families crest engraved and the words "This family will endure" in Elvish. 

Education...

Caelaras was homeschooled from a  very young age, always having the finest professors and scholars come to educate him on worldly topics and then learning the family trade from his Father, while learning fighting and the arts from his Mother. When he became older he would take the summer seasons to travel and learn of other cultures and even live with companions for weeks at a time.

It was clear he wanted to continue his education and growth in both socio-economical and political dealings among the Elves and someday planning on overseeing the family business while practicing philanthropy was his main goal.

Caelaras does not have any connection to magic. His weapon of choice is a sword and close hand to hand combat.
