    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Using information you IC would not know to gain an advantage over roleplay scenarios or other players. Ex. Alex OOC tells me hes getting robbed while I am away from the server. If I go online to aid him that would be considered
    meta, as my actual character would not be informed of this.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Using unfair advantages or status to achieve a desired roleplay outcome or forcing players to do certain things. Ex. "Alex throws Michael off the bridge to his death." Actions that kill or disable a character have to be rolled for, not assumed.

You’ve just stepped off of the boat in the port of a massive and fortified city. Before you lies a sprawling bazaar, with numerous shops, stalls, and seated traders selling wares to folk of all walks of life. Just as you’re about to continue walking onwards, into the market, you’re approached by a well-dressed gentleman who looks upon you with a big smile. “Welcome!” He began. “What brings you to this lovely city? Adventure? Wealth? Or some grand aspirations to elevate your place in society?”

“Greetings!” Aldric exclaims as he turns to address the man. “ I just arrived a short while ago, I was hoping someone could direct me to the nearest library.” Aldric pauses for a moment and then asks, “Might that be you stranger?”

  • You Characters Biography states that your character was taken on as an apprentice in Alchemy. However, magic can only be obtained through roleplay by finding a teacher in-game.
    • May I suggest changing the mention of Alchemy to something else.
  • What your character likes and dislikes about themselves most, must contain at least 2 sentences.
