You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
Shocked, He sat down on the offerd cushion. " I am just, uh" he stutterd with his thoughts going back and forth, desperately looking for what to tell the old hag in the corner. The candlelight flickers in the tense moment as the old hag smiles at at him with a creepy smile.
"I uh, I think you have mistaken me for somebody else," he says visibly nervous, with sweat dripping down from his forehead. " My name is Fenris, a wanderer, and I am here with my cousin simply looking for somewhere to rest for the night". He looks around, trying to avoid eye contact with the old woman, but suddenly their eyes meet. Her bold reddish eyes look right through his soul, and as he sits there, hypnotized almost, he gets the urge to tell her more about himself.
" Me and my cousin have been traveling in the wild for a while now, to gather supplies.
"But we have been unlucky and found nothing". He muster up the courage to ask.
"I am raised to never ask for these sort of things".
"Sigh, but is there anything you can give, I promise on my family's honor to pay it back".
He sits there nervously and waiting for an answer from the hag.
