You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Juno had been walking for quite some time until having made her way into the small town. Upon meeting the old woman's eyes, Juno didn't recognize them in the slightest, though they seemed to know her immediately, seeing not much other choice, Juno decided to entertain the question. with a steady deep breath and exhale, Juno sat down and began her tale. "my name is Juno Bothwell, was once a proud Honor Guard of Silvershire Palace, dedicated to protecting the royal family. Although we were a peaceful people, due to the riches we held there were many factions that wished to raid and pillage us for our silvery possession's and beautifully crafted architecture. just a few weeks ago, we were raided by a massive military force consisting of multiple aligned enemy factions..." Juno took a brief moment to pause and collect her thoughts, the horrific images of her shimmering homeland being torn apart still fresh in her mind. "...the.... armies.... tore through our defenses completely, I was immediately at my lady's side, who was fleeing with the king and their children, we were running past soldier's and civilians, the place was chaotic, nobody knew where they had come from. We were nearly out of the war zone when a hail fire of arrows rained down on us, killing them all at once. I only managed to survive by playing dead long enough for my body to be piled in a cart along with corpses of my people and dumped into a large river. I was swept up by the current and pushed out to sea along with clumps of corpses and wooden debris. for three days I swam on a large wood platform until I came to a new mainland, I'm still not sure how I made it this far, or what future awaits me here, but although I am still haunted by the destruction of my people, I know I must move on and find a new destiny for myself... somewhere in this vast new land."
