You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

With a nervous chuckle Alistair starts towards the woman. "that's just it, i haven't much story to tell as of yet." Alistair scans the tent right to left as he walks, abruptly stopping as he notices the floating candles. "hold on a second how are those candles just hovering there, ive never seen anything like that before!" he asks with curiosity peaked. Alistair's eyes widen "Is that magic ? My Dad used to tell me stories of people he met during the war who could do strange things like this!" He approaches the dingy cushion next to the hag "oh wait i am getting ahead of myself, you wanted to know more about me" As he takes his seat next to the woman he abruptly and awkwardly comes to a halt mid squat as the sword on his back jabs into the cushion. "My apologies! I completely forgot about my blade, I hope i didn't startle you. Being a stranger coming into your tent armed and what not" He pauses a moment before suddenly adding "Goodness forgive me I havent even properly introduced myself: I am Alistair Stormwind" before bowing lowly. He then hastily removes his sword and scabbard from his back places them delicately on the ground as he finally sits on the cushion with legs crossed. "oh right my story, well like i said there is not much to tell as of yet but i am hoping to change that!" He says in earnest as he puts his hands on his knees idly. "I have recently decided to take on a quest errant to make a name for myself, and i herd from a tavern keeper in my home city that you could maybe help me with that?" Alistair asks as a grin begins to spread across his face.

Backstory:

Alistair Stormwind is a young but ambitious warrior with his sights set on becoming an honorable knight. He was raised in Petra's capital by his loving mother(Bianca) and father(Eravard), His mother came from a family of merchants whereas his father was a soldier by trade that fought in the Petran civil war. If his war stories are to be believed he even fought in the battle to reclaim Valfleur from the resistance.  Alistair spent much of his childhood enthralled by his fathers tales from his war days which grew into a fascination bordering on almost obsession with the Sovereign Order of the Petrine Laurel, more specifically the Circle of the Eagle. Since his teen years Alistair has had but one goal : to earn a place withing the ranks of the Order's best warriors by any means necessary. Now he has undertaken a quest errant of sorts, traveling about in hopes of making a name for himself.
