You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
Example: "I haven't been expecting you, matter of fact, I don't know who you are, but let me indulge you"
He sits
"I'm travelling, trying to find a suitable spot to set up my shop, sell my crafts and arms...and such. but here i am, a swamp. not trying to be rude, but I'm not staying"
"You want what comes before that? what made me want to do what I do? People need things, I have things, I can make things people need, And I talk really smooth-So I get paid...You see Its sort of a dying idea, right, I get protections because I know how to procure things, and people continuously want the things I procure, so naturally they want me alive. It all works out."
He stands unwilling to remain in this location for much longer, personally not liking swamps, the smell of it all, Besides clients wait elsewhere.
"Now before I leave, do you need anything?"
