    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: player knows something they havent come across yet.

Read the scenario below this box and type out inside of this box how your character might respond. Your response must be at least four sentences long and include at least one action and at least one piece of dialogue surrounded by quotes. 

i answer, stopping for a moment to talk to the stranger. “oh uh, well i have found a fondness for exploration, sir, as you can see,” i point out my outfit, gesturing that it is meant for adventure. “i have made my way to this city to find someone, that is my main goal here, maybe i will find a--“ i pause, “sorry but i really must be going sir, my apologies, i must not waste a minute here. day is falling and i must find the person before it is too late.” i wave as i look back at the stranger, hurrying to my destination.
