You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your amulet—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"A rare opportunity.." Hecros would remove the cloth covering his face, revealing a rough face with gleaming green eyes, "Very well." He would eye the lady, for a moment, then sit on the gestured cushion. "My parents.." he begins, "Were religious ones following canonism, they had tried for kids multiple times before me, unable to succeed, they became desperate..." he would lower his head, "as a result... they prayed to The Creator to bless them with a child- and lo and behold they had one, Me." Hecros would then raise his head, "This of course strengthened their beliefs, they had me blessed in chapels, and raised me lovingly and as religiously as they could, they were not poor, they didn't abuse me, my life... was considered good.. no tragic accident occurred." he would pause for a moment, before eyeing the old witch. "Unfortunately for them, I had plans, I don't know where my feelings came from, but I had developed a desire for power... immortality.. ascension... desires that grew from the age of 15 to the age of 20,  soon enough, my goals got the best of me, I left them, wordlessly at night, abandoning my heritage, and known future- to make my own... future... one in BLOOD if it must." he would swiftly look up to the top of the tent- as if looking at the sky through it, "mortality is a shell, one that I WILL cleanse, no one will stand in my way, not even the gods themselves, I intend to rise until there is NO CEILING to push past..." he would ball his hands into fists, "Truthfully, there is no good, or evil, only Power, and unknown truths, hidden away beyond veils we cannot yet comprehend... I will uncover those truths, and ascend further than any human- no... any MORTAL, has ever.. at any cost, against anyone..." he would stand up, breathing in the refreshing air, focusing his gaze upon the old lady, "Now then, my time schedule is limited, if that will be all, I must take my leave." he finishes while covering his face and head with his cloth once more.
