You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
I nod and collapse tired onto the cushion. "My parents and I where ambushed on the way to the white water river. We were heading upstream towards a not well known elvish settlement. A group of barbarians attacked. My Mom then grabbed me and told me to go to you. She said you could teach me about the world and famous ways to fight with a sword and bow. I started running and saw my Mom fall when I turned back. The few barbarians started chasing me but I lost them among the trees." The hag nods as if expecting that. Then we here a snarl and something creeping... We both jump up and the hag rummages around and draws a beautifully made elvish sword. She then charges out the door and kills the few barbarians but she is clearly very tired and wont be able to do that again. I then decide... "We must go and stay on the move to make sure we aren't found...
