You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Example: As I approached the old woman, I start to think about what to tell her incase anyone is eavesdropping, " My name is Arnfinn Baintan, I have adventured here with my two brothers to seek revenge for my family and village, which was raided a few years ago, but me and my brothers, being to young to be allowed to join the battle were forced to hide and watch our people get massacred" I reply solemnly, The old hag says nothing as is waiting to hear more. "After years of training me and my brothers were finally allowed by our father to set off on a adventure to find the man who led the party that raided our village and to earn for the family to help with the famine". As I finish all I intend to tell the woman, she gets up to grab what seems to be a cauldron from the back of the tent, I continue "What did you mean you have been expecting me?" I ask as she begins to brew a strange, but calming smelling concoction, she replies "You will find out soon enough young adventurer" as she hands me a mug of whatever it is as I take a sip I start to realize I hear my brother calling for me.
