You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Jacob sits down, albeit cautiously as he looks to the hag. Putting one hand on his scabbard, "Well-" He begins, "I came over to this town in search of adventure really," he studies the tent, "Evidently I will not find much though." Straightening up as he looks back to the hag, "What exactly do you want to know? I haven't got much to give in terms of story." as he sighs, plainly out of boredom, "Just a farmhand who got bored of the everyday grind, all of it was just of no interest to me." His eyes drop to the floor and he frowns, "Though my family protested the decision... I still feel somewhat bad about it." He looks back to the hag, suddenly raising a brow, "Wait one moment, you said you were expecting me? How'd you know I was coming?" he questions though evidently dropping the question after no response is given, "That is all about it, I heard my lineage is of very distant royal blood but obviously that doesn't mean much now." He shrugs, "Am I allowed to go now? Unless you've got some quest to give me."
