You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"Well I guess I won't decline the hospitality of a fair lady, no matter how strange this interaction is." Aydric crouches over to the cushion, slowly sitting down on the cushion with a tired groan from the harsh many days of travel on foot. Placing hi arms to his knees Aydric let a slight sigh murmur before saying "I come from a distant land known as Storheim, A frigid harsh environment to which only the strongest of warriors are born from. I belong to a proud village in Bekkrheim known as Sholsthelm, it was there I went from a boy to warrior of my people." The burly man stretches one leg out to allow his back to hunch forward before continuing "I'm what's known as a Bersekr, a proud a fierce warrior capable of many feats on the field of battle, I've soaked in my enemies blood, watched them die from up close and personal, dancing to the melody of fire and iron. My wolfpack called me... what is it in your dialect again... uh..." Aydric ponders for a moment before the excitement of realization took him to boastly say "Ah... Gold Fang!" Aydric chuckles reminiscing of older times until going back to a solemn expression upon his face, his eyes faded into sorrow. "However, my brothers in arms and I were supposed to set out on a raiding expedition, seeking glory, wealth, and fair maidens to warm our beds. It... It didn't go as planned, about three days on the high seas we were hit with a gruesome storm. Waves crashing into the sides of our ships, lightning and thunder roared and lit the sky above as if faced with a wrath from the gods." Aydric places a hand across his forehead wiping away the sweat from his brow. "Men fell overboard, it was all out chaos, next thing I know I came to washed up along a beach of this land. I had traveled a many day a foot to find civilization and now I wound up here." Aydric lifts his head to look over at the old hag before sitting in silence as if awaiting a response.
