You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

I come from a far off land called Invernia, I was a Vagabond, traveler, basically scum of the earth, suppose you can say I've slept in enough piles of mud to appreciate an old ragged tent like this one, anyways I was bored of those lands, I've experienced all that I wanted, now I'm here to find out more about these lands instead.
Another thing old lady, if you see me around these parts again, don't think of me as your ally, don't think I'll come out of here on good terms with you because you know me, besides i know better than to trust some strangers.
